Minutes up a mountain road, you’ll be greeted by gentle tropical breezes and a world of wild life. Conveniently located between Uvita and Ojochal, with a 2 minute drive to private beach access, you’ll have all necessities within a short drive. Newly remodeled, our home is designed with intention, creating a space that feels like home. locally crafted furniture and art, each item was curated to bring joy. The indoor living room comfortably seats 8 while watching a movie on the state of the art Samsung Art TV. With the home chef in mind, we brought our favorite appliances to make cooking as simple and joyful as possible. An , Insta Pot Blender, food processor, Le Creuset cast iron dutch oven, gas BBQ and other thoughtful items, hopefully eliminate the barrier to cooking. Of course we can recommend different chefs to come and cook for you in our kitchen if cooking isn’t your definition of relaxation. An outdoor living room and dining area are perfect for watching the parrots, monkeys, and toucans and experiencing the sunsets. A good night’s sleep is crucial to a great vacation. With that in mind, we have top of the line mattresses in the king and 3 queen air conditioned bedrooms. Exiting the pool deck, walk down the suspended bridge to the newly remodeled tree house. Our tree house has been converted from a bunk house to 2 separate bedrooms in the tree house and an extra plus underneath the bedrooms we have added a beautiful yoga Shayla. We imagined a place where you could truly sleep in the jungle, experiencing all the sights and sounds of nature. 3 Queen en suite bedrooms, with ocean views, will remind you why you came to Costa Rica. Watching the fireflies at night or the monkeys during the day is easy from small decks on each bedroom. What to do for fun: pool, beach, tours, beach chairs/boogie boards/umbrellas provided. The Included Extras (can be reserved where you made your reservation) \* initial grocery shopping and delivery. We simply provide the receipts for payment. A short trip down the hill will have you at the exclusive, gated entrance to the Ballena National Marine Park Beach. Merely park at the creek water's edge and walk 50 yards to the beach. The convenience is impossible to explain. From here you will experience the beauty of this wide 3-mile stretch of beach. Exercise, or take long peaceful walks, enjoy the modest waves in this sand bottom beach, or just bask in the sun. At days end, a spectacular sunset awaits you. The Tommy Bahama beach chairs, giant beach towels and boogie boards will go a long way toward making your day at this soft sand beach perfect in every way. Please don’t be surprised if you don’t see anyone else at this beach. The solitude here is simply stunning and our access to this beach is as exclusive as the house you are living in. Every day your group will experience early sunrises and fantastic sunsets beset with toucans, parrots and howler monkeys enjoying their lives in the jungle. Area excursions include whale and dolphin tours, zip lining and canopy tours, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, hiking, Nauyaca Falls, world-famous beaches, surfing, wildlife tours, river rafting, sea kayaking, paddle boarding, bird watching, golf, horseback riding, festivals, and more. The Dominical/Uvita area also offers various yoga classes, retreats, and spas. We can make all reservations for you. CASA DE FE Y PAZ is located in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica, approximately a three and one-half hour drive from SJO Airport, and forty-five minutes south of the Quepos Airport. CASA DE FE Y PAZ is easily accessible from the Costanera Highway, only a short 3 minute drive up the road. Please note that roads in Costa Rica are often unpaved and a four-wheel drive vehicle is necessary for getting around and access to the Villa. Big windows and glass doors showcase the exotic plants outside and the ocean views. The woodwork inside is also gorgeous. The property owner owns other property connected to a beach that is available to renters to use and is about a 5 min drive down the road. The beach is practically empty all the time which is awesome. Boogie boards, umbrella, and chairs were a big hit. Bring bug spray because the bugs come in, as do the lizards / crickets / frogs into the house because it is not fully screened. The treehouse was also really cool. Bring the eye shades because the sun is up before 5\. Staying here really felt luxurious and also like a great adventure because the road up is a bit exhilarating. Uvita was our favorite area to stay in CR. So much to do, laid back atmosphere, no stressful city or winding mountain streets to navigate. A great place to end time in the country too. Our stay at Casa De Paz was absolutely wonderful and nourishing for the body, mind, and soul. Waking up with the sun to simply sit with morning coffee while reading, journaling, and listening to and watching all the beautiful wildlife and nature that you're surrounded in there was truly magical. The private beach was surreal. To be able to relax and play on a private beach was a gift. On our last day, we were greeted in the morning with a rainbow and a gorgeous sunset at the beach. Cynthia provided us with valuable insights for the places to venture to and Karol coordinated a beautiful 25th wedding anniversary dinner with a private chef (Juan Pablo - amazing!!) for us. Séjour de 8 nuits en avril 2022 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Samantha Y. 29 janv. 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Absolutely amazing place to stay in Uvita The first night we woke up to howler monkey sounds, then throughout the day we saw parrots and toucans flying above us as we played in the pool. We felt very safe. There are packets in the home that explain the nearby beaches and restaurants as well as excursions to do. Those were very helpful! Cinthia was very helpful and informative. The home was beautiful and had everything you need. Close to restaurants and beaches and a waterfall - really everything you need to enjoy your stay in Uvita. ##### Samantha Y. The house is as pictured… beautiful, clean and modern. We loved the location overlooking the ocean but nestled within the forest. We saw a sloth in the trees next to the house, a few parrots and many toucans every afternoon. The house really isn’t near Quepos, but is a few miles south of Uvita. This didn’t bother us as we were looking for a place away from it all. Uvita and Ojochal were just a few minutes drive away and had everything that we needed in terms of shops and restaurants. All in all, a 5 star experience. ##### Sam D.
