The late summer weather was exceedingly good, the wildlife numerous and for the most part obliging, and there was a magnificent swimming lake forty minutes away. "We wanted accommodation that had easy access to the mountains but also had a swimming pool. A view of the mountains was essential. This gite ticked all the boxes and we had a fabulous holiday. I agree with all the other reviews; the views, our hosts, the facilities and the cleanliness were all spot on. A week wasn't enough to visit all the places we want to in this stunning region so hopefully we'll return and spend longer in Gites de Bigorre."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour Débent. Le gîte est vaste et adapté pour accueillir un groupe en nombre. La grange avec table de ping-pong et fléchettes a été très appréciée de tous ! Tout a été mis en œuvre par les propriétaires pour faciliter notre séjour. Nous recommandons!"

"The hotel is located on a side road in a modest size village. Very little traffic passes so it's not likely to attract passing trade but does mean it's very quiet with no vehicle noise in the rooms. The staff speak good English so communication isn't a problem. The room has a balcony with views of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast costs extra but is of high quality. The only issue is the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty but the shower gel provided an alternative."

"From the friendly texts with entry codes and other information, through to the clean and well equipped accommodation, this place is a great little hotel. Located opposite a swimming pool, and the Agnes Varda Cinema, it couldn't have been more peaceful. Couldn't even hear the goats bleating from the surrounding hills! Have stayed here before.
