This six bedroom, 6.5 bath retreat on Bald Head's private Middle Island amazes you with its inspiring panoramas, tranquility and comfort. Step into the bricked foyer of this reverse-floor plan home, from there hardwoods lead you to the central lower-level gathering area which is perfect for family game-playing and movie watching. Check out the adjacent dinette with its own coffee bar-perfect for your morning java. Off this space are three bedrooms. The first is a Queen with a full ensuite bath and private access to the back screened porch that houses a ping pong table. The next bedroom is a twin bunk room with an additional trundle. It utilizes the nearby hall full bath. Beyond, a bedroom with two more twins also boasts its own ensuite. At the end of the hall, there's another large, bright corner Queen bedroom with its own ensuite. This level also houses the laundry, three outdoor showers and a placid marsh-front back deck with caressing winds and cicada serenades. Up the stairs reveals an oversize, natural light-filled, vaulted open floor plan backed by French doors and windows that grant "WOW factor" panoramas across Bald Head's estuary all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. The living space is anchored by a decorative marble fireplace, warmed by gracious hardwoods and surrounded by handsome wainscoting. The dining area, furnished with a table for ten and a convenient bar, is abutted by a granite breakfast bar proffering seating for four more. Eat here or just outside on the upper deck at either the dining table or on covered lounges and chairs while relishing salty breezes and marsh/seascapes. The chef's kitchen extends plenty of butcher block counter space and pleases with a walk-in pantry and Kitchen Aid and Viking stainless appliances. At each end of this floor is a King Master suite. The first pampers with a garden tub in its ensuite, a private sitting area and two closets. The second also features an ensuite as well as its own private access to the back deck. Equipped with three four-passenger golf carts, Barnard House will spoil you with the Bald Head vacation you've been dreaming of...and more! IMPORTANT NOTE ON CLUBS: Both clubs are independent from WWP or any WWP properties. As such, all arrangements for temporary memberships must be handled by renters directly with the Clubs. Renters are strongly encouraged to make desired reservations with the club immediately upon booking, and also to become familiar with club policies, procedures, and schedules.
