The birds including owls were amazing and the view is beautiful. Rowena and Rex are fabulous hosts and our kids enjoyed a tour of their chicken coop to see the chicks. The bathroom is a Jack & Jill set up, which is fine with us. We ate our meals at the picnic table and on the front porch. We lucked out for the most part, but there were high winds overnight both nights. We felt very secure and comfortable in the trailer. We brought all of our food and cooked our meals on the 2-burner electric cooktop (one large burner, one small). The kitchen had everything we needed but finicky cooks may want to bring their own pots/pans as the kitchenware is well-worn. The sink is quite small, which made doing dishes a bit challenging but we made do. It's a trailer, after all! There's not much in the immediate vicinity but we enjoyed walking with our dog through the adjacent orchard in the evenings. The Lehman Cave tour was cool. The Wheeler Peak road was closed due to snow but we enjoyed hiking outside the park at Lower Hendry's Creek. Overall a great experience and we enjoyed it very much. ##### Julie C.
