« I had stayed here 12-13 yrs ago so just had to go back…The owner was super nice and couldn’t do enough for us. Room was recently renovated and so was very nice. 15 min from downtown, close to free ferry to Crawford Bay and about 45 minutes to Ainsworth Hot Springs.Would definitely stay again, hopefully soon. Recommend highly if staying in/near Nelson. »

« Visited earlier in the year. Went to nearby hikes at the lake but during the time we stayed, and visited the hot springs. The hosts were great and attended our needs. Hosts recommended sites and nearby eateries, including showing us the up and coming services to be provided in the future. Had a very nice and pleasant quiet stay, as the suite was nice and large. When we get more time, would love to come back. »

« Our stay at Kootenay Lake Lodge was fantastic. The owners Klaus and Claudia were lovely. Very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the little red cabin and loved it! We will also be bringing our trailer up to camp as well. I highly recommend this place and will be returning. »

« We had a terrific stay at this lovely cabin. Amanda was great to work with and readily available, offering to let us check in early. The location was ideal, within a few minutes of Kaslo yet in a quiet and secluded neighborhood. The deck is fabulous. After a days work bicycling, we spent every late afternoon and evening sitting outside, enjoying the view, the gentle breeze, and the magnificent bird life.
