Super unique place. Would recommend staying no more than one night. Interested to see what this place will look like in a few years.
Its touristy but there is plenty of stuff you can do without breaking the bank. Beautiful beach, trekking in Cat ba island. You can rent a motorbike (~$120 VND) and then take the ferry ($200 VND round trip)there then ride the motorbike in the island.
overall - i had to drop the rating due to the noise above my cabin were people working and making noise till 11:30pm - i had to tell them to stop at midnight. the other reason, i forgot my charger and iphone in the room, they could not find it.
