"The staff went out of their way to make us have a great time. Very helpful all around. You won’t go wrong staying here if you are tired of the big cities and want to get away. The restaurant was a perk due to our waitress and cook “Sugar” she offered us one of everything the first night and just brought us dishes to try. It was excellent! We stayed it the new area across from the main area. Borgo La noche and it was really nice to wake up to bread cooking.. our hostess there was the best and gave us great places to go spend our day at castles and towns near there. She was very sweet and helpful with everything!"

"Everything about this house is exquisite and very homey. Decors are really tasteful. Outdoors spaces and the views are absolutely beautiful. Kitchen is really well appointed. There is no shortage of dish-wear, silverware and glasses. Location is very central to explore Tuscany. Our host, Lapo is very welcoming and helpful with all recommendations. He is the kind of host that you want to stay in touch and come back to see him. "

"A lovely home located in a newer housing complex. Very spacious and comfortable, each bedroom has a private modern bathroom. The outdoor areas are nice although very close to neighbors. The host Mauro is wonderful with excellent communication, offering tons of day trip & restaurant recommendations. He brought us croissants for breakfast one morning & even helped us pay a parking ticket! It was a great property for 3 adults traveling together who each wanted our own room. The town of Cavriglia is more modern but does have an antique bell tower and a quiet central square with a couple restaurants, pharmacy, & Coop for groceries. Everything is a short walk or easy drive down the hill from the house.We spent 3 nights and used the house as home base for day trips around the Chianti region. Mauro recommended driving to Monterrigioni (a beautiful & charming walled town about an hour from Cavriglia), and on the way back stopping at Castellina in Chianti for lunch, and finishing the day in Radda to catch the sunset which was a perfect agenda. We visited Siena on day 2 which was an hour drive & a full day. We had dinner in Cavriglia at the restaurant just down the hill from the house & the food was great. We checked out the next morning & headed for Rome, stopping in Orvieto on the way."

"The view, pool, area were perfect. However the room sadly affected our experience. Air conditioner was malfunctioning- it was colder outside! We didn’t have hot water in our shower. It’s desperately no isolated… we couldn’t sleep as we’re listen to almost everything. Overall we didn’t not appreciate our 3days."

"We had a really good time at this property. Everything was very clean and it was well equipped for what we wanted. It was very hot whilst we were there, so the air con and pool were very much appreciated! The town itself has several decent restaurants (so no need to cook, if you dont want to!) and there are some local buses but a car is needed really to make the most of the wider surrounding area (including the beautiful pool).The owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful with any queries and gave us some good recommendations on the local area. I would recommend Il Campanile as a great place to stay in the Tuscan countryside."
