This was a wonderful surprise, a hotel on top of a hill overlooking the ocean in southern Bohol. The staff was great, the food very good, the swimming pool refreshing and the cottages very well designed. But be careful when taking taxi. Most drivers won't go up the hill to the lobby. This place is gorgeous!! It’s no 5 stars but if you like privacy, enjoying alone time or appreciate the view overlooking the forest onto the water, this is your spot! The only down fault on this, there’s no sign that was pointing out to the hotel. We ended in a backroad in the back of the country side. The texi driver took awhile to find it. When I got there I wasn’t sure If this was the place. We loved watching sunset from the infinity pool (which was very well maintained). The rooms were beautifully decorated - much more tasteful than other similarly-priced hotels we've stayed at in the Philippines. Loved the outdoor shower! We thought that the bed could be more comfortable but that's our only complaint about the place. The staff were very nice and accommodating.
