"Great little place , only 10 min walk to the local swan pub , great for a group booking like ours was , only 30 mins to Windermere lake , loads going on there."

"Set in a good location for getting out and about . Nice hot tub in a private small garden."

"Loved that we could get a train into Windermere and enjoy the restaurants and bars."

"absolutely beautiful up there! Will 100% be going back up there. staff were so kind&helpful if you needed anything. Cottages had basically everything you needed, very clean!"

"Lovely cottage, warm and really well equipped. We had a lovely few days there and would definitely return"

"We had a lovely few days in this quaint cottage. There is everything you need and very close to the village pub, where they let us park our car, as not really ideal outside the cottage. Will definitely return if we go back to the Lake Distruct."

"I arrived after 5pm and had not realised Sykes cottages were dealing with the property. It took me two hours to get in because of email issues and also no one to get hold of after hours from Sykes. This needs looking into. The property itself was well worth the hassle I had been through and I will definitely go back for a second visit. It was clean and very quiet. Only issue was recycling I didn’t know what went where. Maybe a sheet telling you what to do. But apart from this would recommend."

"A fabulous cottage with everything thoughtfully provided by the owners"
