"We recently stayed at Grand Hotel du Lac Hanoi, and it was such a memorable experience from start to finish. The front desk team and manager were incredibly professional, warm, and welcoming during our stay. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic service from the breakfast team who were so attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Dinner at Ding Doong was equally impressive. Both the food and service exceeded our expectations, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The location of the hotel is ideal as it is right in the heart of Hanoi, yet in a calmer pocket where it’s much easier to cross the roads (a huge plus if you’ve been to Hanoi before!). It’s close to everything, but you still get a sense of calm and comfort when you return at the end of the day. "A really beautiful boutique hotel set in a convenient location in the historic old quarter. The room was not large but we received an upgrade with a balcony. What stood out about the hotel is the tasteful and beautiful Vietnamese decor and the service which is top notch. The staff could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
