SURFIN' SADIE'S is just a quick walk to the street’s private beach access and in just a few minutes and you're catching some waves or just setting up your beach chair in front of the surf. This home is perched on a quiet cul-de-sac – allowing you to relax without disruption from thru-street traffic. SURFIN' SADIE'S is also within easy walking distance to Frank and Fran’s for all your fishing gear, the local ice cream shop, Cups and Cones, and bakery, Muffins and Scones. When you arrive at the home, there is ample parking on the concrete paved driveway and with just a few steps, you can enter the home through the ground floor dry entry. Step up to the bedroom level where you'll find a king master bedroom with TV and DVD, another bedroom with 2 sets of bunks and another with queen that has access to a covered private deck for some relaxing in the shade. The laundry room is located on the bedroom level which means no running up or down stairs for fresh towels. There are ceiling fans throughout the home, including one in each bedroom. The top level of the home features the great room, kitchen and the fourth bedroom, also with a king bed. The bright, well-appointed kitchen provides ample conveniences for creating great meals and enjoying them together at the large dining table. The open living and dining area offers a comfortable gathering place for the family to sit and enjoy a movie or casual conversation. The living area TV and DVD are accompanied by a number of books, DVDs and games. Step outside onto the top deck and you will also enjoy the ocean and sunset views and a dip in the large, 6 person hot tub. This comfortable home with its surf loving decor, convenient location to the beach and shops provides the setting for a wonderful great getaway spot for the entire family. Kitchen had lots of extras as far as cookware necessaries. The hot tub was refreshing. Only down fall was I had was I have a toddler and the walk to the beach is sorta a short walk but with a toddler and all the things you need to take along for them it was a long walk. The wagon didn't work because if the stairs you climbed to get to the beach. Traveled with my husband, 2 1/2 year old, 3 month old and 10 year old niece along with another family. Loved the house and hot tub. You do have some stairs to climb to get to the main floor with the kitchen. We were able to check-in early which was great. Unfortunately the code to get in was incorrect and took a couple days to send someone to fix so we were unable to lock the door when we went to the beach. The walk to the beach was too much of a hike for us with having to carry the kids and all of our stuff (up stairs and over sand dunes). We ended up driving to the beach at the pier for most of the week because it was more convenient for us. Other than that it was a great house and close to stores for anything you need to pick up. ##### Carie B. Exhausting! Beach access was another climb of several stairs. Pool was closed. Not sure how it can be called a community pool. You have to get in the car to drive there. House is very nice. It was just 2 of us and our dog so we stayed on the top floor and utilized the king size bedroom on that level. There are 3 bedrooms on the lower level plus a 2nd bath - all looked very nice. I reduced by 1 star for cleanliness because the refrigerator could use a thorough cleaning where something spilled and the glass needs to be removed to effectively clean. Also the ceiling vents & ceiling fans need to be cleaned. Aside from those items, the house is very clean. The house is conveniently located in Avon which is great. The house sits slightly off the road tucked in with other houses, again not really a negative, I just prefer a little more space between me and my neighbors.
