We were communicated with extremely well, greeted at the front door and everything in the apartment was explained to us. There were treats and a bottle of champagne chilling in the refrigerator as well. The apartment was quiet, with exactly the view of the Papal Palace shown in the listing, which was stunning. It is very large and well-stocked, with a lovely terrace as well. It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops.There is no elevator, so there are a few flights of stairs, as mentioned in the listing. That didn't bother us at all, but be aware. Also, in at least one of the bedrooms the ensuite shower area has no door, and so one might feel a little exposed if sharing the room with a friend. But really, this place is one of the top five or six places I have ever stayed, and I've stayed in a lot of places -- I highly recommend it, and would definitely stay here again. ##### Susan M. The host was super quick to respond and the location was amazing to walk to anything in Avignon. The AC worked great as well which was nice to come back to when it was so hot out.
