It was the perfect central location to walk to incredible food, music, fun shops, great ice cream, bars, etc. It was also close enough to walk down to Lady Bird Lake, see some bats, and over the bridge to some great restaurants and bars downtown or a nice stroll around the capitol grounds. It was also such a central location that we never waited more than 5 minutes for and Uber. It was comfortable, clean, open and we enjoyed the porch every morning. The location of this VRBO is perfect - about a block from the main street leading up to Austin's downtown. This cottage was perfect. Comfortable, clean and in an amazing location. One block off of South Congress shopping and restaurants. You also get a covered parking spot in front of the house in a neighborhood where it’s so hard to find parking. Five minute drive from the lake and downtown; 10 minute drive to campus. There was everything you needed in the kitchen, extra sheets and a great bed in one room and a pretty good but springy bed in the other. Convenient smart TVs and a great patio with deck for my yoga mat in the morning.
