Stroll to fantastic restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and music venues. You can also easily catch a bus or walk downtown. This light-filled, modernized 1926 bungalow is the ideal place to relax after a day or night of exploring vibrant Austin. Enjoy an iced tea or margarita in the private backyard - under a majestic 350-year-old oak tree. Get a good night's rest: both bedrooms are on the main floor and feature queen beds and high-quality linens. The main bathroom has a tub/shower combo and slate tile floors. A half bathroom and laundry area are conveniently located off the kitchen. The kitchen, dining, and living room feature high vaulted ceilings. The fully equipped kitchen features a gas oven, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, coffee grinder, french press, toaster, and blender. The flat-screen TV in the living room is equipped with ROKU. There's also a digital radio with pandora and internet radio stations. In case you need to work, you'll find a roomy desk and the fastest wi-fi available (Google Fiber)! There's also a bonus loft area with a sofa for relaxing (no sleeping in the loft area). There's a carport for one vehicle plus room for one vehicle directly behind it. Beautiful Stacy Park is 3 blocks east and equipped with 3 acres of walking trails and a heated, spring-fed swimming pool. You'll also find a wading pool, playground, & friendly neighbors at Little Stacy Park - enough fun to entertain even the tiniest of travelers for hours. Location was extremely close to congress and tons of restaurants. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs but the house itself could really use a deep clean. Linens and dishes were fine but the floors and bathrooms felt like they had a layer of dirt on them. Also just a good amount of dust and dirt on windowsills and lamp fixtures. This is exactly as pictured and described on the site. It is super convenient to dining, shopping, and just walking in Austin. this was a short getaway with a girlfriend, and the 2 bedrooms worked perfectly. We didn't need to use the upstairs loft. The owner communicated well and responded quickly. the place was spotless (and I am a bit of a germ freak!) so felt comfy there. The outside area was nice, with a huge, beautiful tree in the back yard. It is in a neighborhood, so you have houses surrounding you, but frankly was surprisingly quiet. A friend and I stayed here during a long weekend in Austin while hosting an event in Bouldin Creek. It was a great location for us—walkable to so much, including a great running/walking trail and easy access to the "Town Lake". The rooms were cozy, the extra bathroom was appreciated, and the tree lined street was beautiful in the spring. I appreciated the items included that would make it comfortable to stay here with kids, too—highchair, extra space, a few games, etc. Can't wait to go back! ##### Heather C. Lots of thoughtful touches to make your stay go smoothly. Great location, close to markets and cafes. Off-road parking. Walk-able into the city, or use public transport.
