Very impressed with Tru after first time staying. Modern. Great staff at counter and buffet. Good sleep. Enjoyed breakfast and flair activities like billiard table and outdoor lounge. Liked the personal touch of seeing my name on the TV as I entered. Liked lever adjustable lamp. Like the lemon sugar scent of the soap. Really darn cool hotel. Me and my family of 4 will look for Tru again when we travel. Great pricing and close to the Austin airport.

Free shuttle to austin airport, even included to go bags for breakfast since we took the 4am shuttle. Clean rooms, friendly staff, easy check in/out.

Great property but would love to have been able to sit outside.. like a patio sitting area would have been really nice. It was just concrete and a little grass area which was fine but outside sitting would have been great. Room was clean and spacious and staff was very nice, also helpful.

This location is clean with comfortable, firm beds. The toilets are high enough so that your knees aren’t in your chest when you sit. There is no carpet in the room which makes it easy to see that it’s clean. There is no closet, but there are places to hang clothes. There are plenty of flat spaces for your stuff. Overall great experience. I’d go back.

This hotel had a great feel and look to it. Very pretty and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our airport shuttle was not good. Our shuttle driver took us to baggage claim instead of the terminal, and when I asked him about this he said that he had to leave us here. He then refused to take us anywhere closer or to another door of the airport. He dropped us off on a curb 7 lanes from the front door of the airport baggage claim. We had 12 bags for our family and my children are all too small to help so I had to make multiple trips taking these bags all the way into the airport and up an elevator when we could have been dropped off just a few feet from where we check our bags.

Thank you for your feedback. Please understand that our shuttle drivers only follow rules and regulations set up by the Austin Airport. We are assigned a specific spot for a limited time for pickups and drop offs for our hotel guests unfortunately. These circumstances limit the services that can be provided by our shuttle drivers.You can always try to call airports or your airlines as they have services for travelers who needs assistance like if you are handicapped, pregnant or travelling with children. We are hoping for your understanding.

I stayed here twice. The first time everything was okay. The second time, both rooms I got (room change due to issue, see below) weren't well cleaned. There were hair and other signs from previous guests. I wiped everything down with my own disinfectant wipes and called it a day, but the first room triggered more and more allergy symptoms. I was travelling under special circumstances and couldn't just leave, but on the last night it got so bad, that I checked whether there is mold or something under the sink. I found a big cockroach instead. I wondered if that's also why the whole room was filled with a burnt smell when I once - and never again - turned on the heat. Maybe another cockroach died in there? After finding the cockroach and not being able to sleep due to allergy symptoms I got another room and that one was extremely loud (road), impossible to sleep without the white noise machine. But with the machine and pure exhaustion it worked. I got the room change and a late-late-check out - upon my request - for free, no other discount. The employee who helped me with the room change and more (on my last night) was genuinely friendly and helpful. Thank you! The shuttle bus driver is also a friendly presence and I appreciated 24/7 hot tea and coffee station.

We apologize for the inconvenience it caused you during your stay. Your reservation was booked and paid through Expedia and unfortunately, the hotel cannot do any adjustments to provide you discount. Again, we apologize you have to experience this and hopefully not again when you stay with us next time. You can always call the hotel on the morning of your arrival to request a specific room facing the back side of the hotel.

Pros - friendly customer service, kid friendly, clean rooms ,shuttle Cons- breakfast included but both the waffle machine and pancake machine were broken and eggs are made from powder or something that doesn’t taste real, the shuttle bus stops running at 11:30 am and doesn’t start again until 4pm-very inconvenient, to top it off they don’t allow late checkout so you are forced to hang in the lobby and get an Uber, there’s a game room but games were broken except the pool table, not the best if you plan on doing a little work because the business area is open and near the reception desk which gets loud- there are so many options in this area so while convenient and clean not worth it when things are broken and the shuttle is limited

The hotel is right off the highway so its very convenient to Austin airport which is a 5 minute drive, but you can occasionally hear noise from the highway if your room is on that side. It seems to be relatively new, and the design is a bit hipster / modern. But its clean, lots of parking, and a good breakfast buffet with a machine that makes pancakes on demand.

The hotel feels like it’s brand new. Everything is crisp. That said it you aren’t in a car it is difficult to get to and there are relatively few restaurants within walking distance.

The free shuttle doesn't run 24/7, so I had to take a taxi from the airport due to a delayed flight. $40 for a 5 minute ride. Since I bought my room thru a 3rd party website, the hotel couldn't adjust my bill (given the pricey ride).
