The home is nicely decorated, clean, and stocked with essentials (teepee, shampoo, towels etc). The pool was perfect after long walking hot afternoons. The hot tub was great but needed a top-off from the hose especially after overnight (slow leak somewhere?) Host was always pleasant and very responsive. Would gladly stay again sometime!If you don’t mind walking, a rental car may not even be needed. Very close to HEB grocery store and walking distance to south congress shopping and restaurants. The immediate neighborhood felt very safe. However, when walking to the main strip, we did come across a few individuals who seemed unwell and were yelling. The property looks nice, both showers seemed to have issues shower with a tub was missing a piece of the faucet, walk in shower glass door had to be pulled with two hands to close it. Sectional was covered in feather so wasn’t sure property had been cleaned. Finally the reason I left 4 hours into my stay was because I laid down on the bed in the front room with walk in shower on top of the covers, was dosing off and then felt a sharp pain in the back of my thigh. I got out of bed turned on the flashlight on my phone but could not find anything. The bite began itching so I showered think it might help but it did not. After this I noticed the bite was now turning into a bump so I packed up my stuff and went to look for something to take at nearby store. I decided not to return. ##### Eric R.
