Nestled on a 1.5-acre property, The Homestead’s 1,508 sq ft accommodates groups of up to 8, with enjoyable outdoor amenities such as a hot tub, trampoline, playscape playground, fire pit, and even a Karaoke machine! There is a deck with outdoor furnishing and a barbecue grill for grill-out nights and star gazing! When not outside enjoying all the activity, you’ll have a warm and inviting living space to enjoy relaxing downtime moments in front of the Smart TV. The living room is also stocked with books - pick one up and enjoy some quiet time. There’s a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals at home and a nice breakfast bar to enjoy a quick snack or your morning coffee. Or have a proper sit-down meal in the dining room and fill it with good conversation and laughter! When it’s time to retire, there are 4 great bedrooms to choose from. Bedroom 1, is the master bedroom off the dining room area features a plush king bed, a desk for a dedicated workspace if needed, an en-suite bathroom with a spa tub, dual-sink vanity, and a stand-in shower. Bedroom 2 has a cozy twin bed. Bedroom 3 is another room with a king bed and Bedroom 4 is a luminous room with a queen bed. My only concern/issue was that the pack and play didn't have a mattress pad. The bottom of the pack and play is too hard for a baby to sleep on. We had to find blankets and a comforter to line the bottom of it so that it was soft enough for my infant. Which ended up being fine. The house was clean and had the essentials an available in both kitchen and bathroom. Our only mishap was no working tv and with stars and Mavs in the playoffs my husband was a little irritated not being able to get the tv to work despite troubleshooting as the owners suggested. The chairs on the back porch could use some cushions as the wicker seats were pretty much shot. My adult girls did the hot tub one night and i might suggest some solid lights to light the path at night because it is pitch dark out thete at night. Other than those minor details we had a great stay, the town of Drip is lovely and we come here often. Please check out Treaty Oak distillery when you visit, they are also dog friendly outdoors and carry some great rum whiskey and bourbon! ##### Angel O. Clean, spacious, with all the amenities. We read books (amazing library!), relaxed in the hot tub, roasted marshmallows, and enjoyed day trips to Pedernales Falls, Johnson City and Fredericksburg. The house is literally only 45 min from our home in Austin but it’s such a quiet area, and on a property big enough that it’s super private and just idyllic. Highly recommend!
