I found the exact opposite to be the case. The area is beautiful and convenient to downtown and all areas in Austin. The condo was extremely dated and beat up. Layers upon layers of old paint, cabinets that don’t close, worn tiles, soiled furniture. The bathroom has no window and no fan, so the room fills with shower steam quickly, and felt damp and musty. No paper towels, the cheapest Walmart towels. I was embarrassed to have selected this for our family weekend. When booking, I didn’t realize this was operated by a large national corporation. You can tell they cut corners, costs, etc. They required a signed contract outside of the VRBO app (via email). Now they are spamming me with marketing emails. ##### Wendy V.
