This Vacation rental has it all! When you pull up to this Newly renovated log cabin you see a beautiful goldfish pond with a fountain and farm land as far as the eye can see! This beautiful cabin Sleeps 16 and has a Large living area with fireplace and large kitchen. It has 3 full bathrooms, 7 bedrooms, 5 with queen beds one king bed and 1 room with two sets of bunk beds. There are smart TVs in every bedroom and a large smart TV in the living room. Leading up to this home is a long gravel driveway with plenty of room for the kids to ride bikes and play outside with no worry of neighbors. This home is very private with the closest neighbor being 1/2 a mile away. This amazing rental has a beautiful In-ground pool and a fire pit in the back yard. It’s a great place for some back yard grilling and hanging with friends and family. While on the back deck you will be able to watch for deer and other wildlife over the beautiful farmland that surrounds this home. All of this is located 5 minutes from Barren River Lake and State Park Hiking trails, lodge Resturant, beach, golf course, marina and boat launch. This is the perfect place to bring your whole family. If your looking for a great place to vacation with privacy this is your cabin! You will be able to relax in the cabin or go outside and sit under the large covered back deck or swim in the pool and on those cooler nights everyone can sit around the fire pit in the back yard. It’s great for intimate gatherings with family and friends and you can leave the stress of the real world behind you. The pool will be opened during swimming season only. We will open it before summer sometime in the spring and close it after summer when the weather begins to be cold. It will be closed in the fall and winter due to the cold weather and it being outside. We will keep it open as long as we can. And open it as soon as we can if you want more information on the pool please message on Vrbo. We are taking the current covid situation very seriously when cleaning this home Lysol is sprayed inside on everything all furniture door handles and light switches and all cleaning supplies used kills 99.9% of germs. We want our guest to rest assured we are doing our part to make sure you have a safe vacation while staying in our cabin. NO PETS ALLOWED NO SMOKING INSIDE THE CABIN Attention all renters: For Security, Theft, and Liability Insurance purposes we do have Security cameras up on the outside of the cabin. For your privacy there are NO cameras inside the cabin. If you are staying during the swimming season and the pool is open either myself or my husband will come one time every day or every other day to check the filter, check the levels of the pool and do any cleaning to the pool that is needed to keep it safe and clean for your family. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: 1\. What Linens are included? – We provide linens for beds, bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. 2\. What household supplies are provided? – We provide you with toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and laundry pods. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase additional items when the initial supply runs out. 3\. What does the kitchen include? –The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect in a normal kitchen. Basic pots and pans a crock pot, mixer, toaster and a standard coffee maker 4\. Do you provide a grill? – Yes. There is a gas grill between the back deck and fireplace. 5\. Do you provide firewood? – Yes always for the fire pit and when the fireplace indoors is in season we provide wood for that also. You may want to bring extra or you can purchase extra from us if you run out 6\. Do you allow pets? - NO. We do not allow any pets in the home at all no exceptions on this rule. 7\. Is the pool heated? - no but it is in an open field and warms up pretty quickly during the summer months 8\. Is the a pool private? – Yes! Your family will be the only ones using the pool during your stay 9\. What time is check-in and check-out? – You may check in any time after 4:00 PM and you must checkout by 11:00 AM on the day of your departure. 10\. Is this cabin secluded? – Yes the home is surrounded by 115 acres of beautiful farmland and the nearest neighbor is 1/2 mile up the road. 11\. What TV package / channels do you provide? – We provide Hulu plus with live tv and Roku tv. 12\. What type of internet to you provide? – We provide unlimited high speed internet with no passcode to connect 13\. I’m trying to book but it won’t let me. What’s wrong? - Most problems are with your credit card company not allowing the charge. Please contact them first. Also, please ensure you have a verified ID on file. 14\. Do you decorate for the holidays? – Yes! We decorate for Christmas 15\. How are the beds arranged in the cabin? - main level has master bedroom with king bed and private full bath also on main level are two bedrooms both with queen beds and a full bathroom between them. The space was gorgeous and perfect for this kind of event. Great space and so many nice amenities including having wood readily available for the fire pit out back. The house was perfect with lots of privacy. The house is pretty far from stores, restaurants and entertainment but if you are looking for privacy and seclusion, this is perfect. The only thing that would make this place 5 stars would be the addition of a hot tub. Other than that, we had a great time here. ##### Dannon G. Our group of friends had a wonderful stay at this secluded and peaceful property! We loved relaxing poolside and the living area was large enough to accommodate everyone. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials. Might think about bringing some pool towels with you (though there were plenty of towels to go around, they were all standard bath towels). Make sure and stop at Paradise Point for breakfast—located just a few minutes away and so unique and fun! We would love to return! ##### Megan J. Everything was as advertised and the owners helped us with a special request. We particularly enjoyed the pool. The only 2 things we thought could be improved upon are to put some lighting on the steps coming off the back deck and to have firewood split a bit smaller. ##### Laurie G. We play golf in the mornings and then enjoy the beatiful pool in the afternoons. In the evenings, we have fires. The hosts have been very accomadating with our special request to check in early. When we requested additional firewood, they came over and gave us more than enough for the rest of our stay. This house and property is so well taken care of - it's wonderfull! ##### Laurie G. The pool was enjoyed especially the slide and diving board. We couldn’t find any matches to light the fire pit and bring yr own pool towels and pool toys. The house was large enough to accomodate 11 people easily, and gravel driveway is easy enough to maneuver on motorcycle. Kitchen is well equipped, we cooked breakfast and dinner daily for the group. We had 12 people in our group and it didn’t feel cramped at all, plenty of space, rooms and TV’s for everyone. The back porch has 2 tables and ceiling fans great for hanging out and eating in the shade. The pool area has some lounge chairs and tables but there is no shade, so I would recommend bringing some sort of table umbrella or pop up tent if you want shade by the pool. Everything was exactly as described and even better in some cases. The grill was beautiful. The pool was crystal clear, and the house was fitted with all necessary items for cooking, cleaning, and entertaining. The double dryer came in handy many days, and we also enjoyed using the corn hole boards. The house also included a standard and keurig coffee maker. The furniture was comfortable and homey. The property is definitely back in the country. We felt like we were driving in someone's yard to reach the property, but the seclusion and privacy ended up being one of our favorite things. The host was responsive to any needs that arose and showed kindness and grace throughout our stay. We also enjoyed renting a pontoon boat at Barren Lake State Park one day. This park is free to use and includes some nice trails, playgrounds, restaurants, a beach, and much more. Overall, we had a wonderful family reunion and would love to return one day in the future! ##### Reilly P. It was a gorgeous area with wildlife around, hills, and so quiet. The house and pool were perfect for our crew of family, who all live away from each other and we're able to drive in. There were so many bedrooms with comfy beds, a stocked kitchen, clean bathrooms, laundry, and the huge great room for gathering. We loved being able to go out and have breakfast on the back deck and watch the deer and wild turkeys. The pool was clean and we loved the diving board and slide. It did rain on and off when we were there, including when Misty did our family photos. She was so accommodating and took great pictures! She was very quick to respond when we had some minor issues come up during our stay and gage good advice about places to eat and visit. The Mammoth cave historic tour was wonderful, as was our time on Barren River Lake on a boat and at the beach. We were so glad to have found this gem of a place to spend our summer vacation together.
