The unit is a perfect size for a party of one or two, for folks looking for basic accommodations without a lot of frills. The bed was very comfy. The location is fantastic if you're looking to embed yourself in a cool neighborhood for your stay and walk to food, coffee, entertainment, etc. We loved that aspect, even with all the street construction nearby. Communication with the property management was speedy and reliable. All very much appreciated. However, the unit is old and the renovations are primarily surface-level. The walls and floorboards were visibly dirty and stained. The bathroom was marginal, and the unit smelled verrrry musty. The smell was probably my biggest complaint. I thought I could get past it, but it was very prominent. There was also a huge dumpster right outside our door that was overflowing and did not get emptied during our stay, and that also smelled. The dumpster is not the property owner's responsibility, of course, but its proximity to our unit just added to the overall unpleasant odor. It was really a shame.
