The idyllic village of Scareno with its surrounding mountains invites you to relax. The hut can be reached in 8 minutes on foot along a safe path. There are several huts in the immediate vicinity. Casa Oriana welcomes you with its spacious living and dining room with cooking area. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, microwave and a small pantry. The wood-burning stove heats up the ambience in the more uncomfortable days. In the living area there is a fireplace, a small couch and a television. The upper floor leads to the two bedrooms, one with double bed and wardrobe and the other with two single beds and chests of drawers. Through both rooms you reach the balcony with a fantastic mountain view. The bathroom is equipped with shower, washbasin, bidet and washing machine. Please note that smoking and pets, of any size, are not allowed in the interior of the hut. The House is close to the Lake Maggiore where you can make day trips to the Borromean Islands, visit the botanical garden of Villa Taranto, the coast of Verbania, Cannero Riviera, Cannobio, Baveno (Lake Maggiore Adventure Park) and Stresa. Das Haus liegt abseits von allem in einem kleinen Ort in den Bergen. Man gelangt nur zu Fuß über einen kleinen, etwas steileren Bergstieg dorthin, so dass Rucksack statt Koffer benutzt werden sollten. Aber der Aufstieg lohnt sich -> das Haus ist super sauber und schön und hat alles, was man braucht. Ich war mit meinen drei Kindern Dortmund es war. Super! ##### Anke B. Das Haus ist top in Ordnung, die Umlage und die Ruhe großartig! Einzig die Wege sind sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Straße ist sehr eng und für die 12km braucht man ca 30 Minuten mit dem Auto bis nach Verbania. Auch der Fußweg vom Parkplatz ist, für untrainierte, anstrengend. Trotzdem würden wir hier nochmal hinfahren. Denn die "Strapazen" sind den Aufenthalt absolut wert! Auch die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Vielen Dank! ##### Kathrin S. Séjour de 7 nuits en juillet 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Axel H. 27 juill. 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### Traumhafte ruhige Lage Wir haben jeden Sommertag am und um den Lago Maggiore genossen und uns gefreut, am Abend in das kleine Bergdorf Scareno zurückzukehren. Es ist in den Bergen etwas kühler, super angenehm für die Nacht. Das Haus ist wunderschön und groß, die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und die Verständigung klappt irgendwie. Die Tochter spricht auch englisch. Es herrscht absolute Ruhe, der Brunnen plätschert leise und ab und zu kommen die Ziegen zu Besuch. Toll !! Ein Auto muss man haben und bereit sein, seine Sachen die letzten 250 m hochzutragen. Phantastisch und unglaublich, dass es so etwas überhaupt noch gibt. Wir hatten eine traumhafte Zeit, wie in einer anderen Welt. ##### Axel H. Mooier en ruimer dan op de foto s. Met uitzicht op de bergen en een rustig dorpje. Echter ligt het dorp wel vrij hoog in de bergen. Laatste stuk vrij stijl omhoog rijden op smalle weg voor 1 auto breed. Om bij het vakantie huisje te komen moet je 5-10 minuten omhoog lopen over een onverhard pad en trappen. Een zware klim om de eerste dag je spullen naar het huis te brengen vanaf de parkeerplaats beneden. Daarom moet je voldoende conditie hebben en enigszins sportief zijn aangelegd mocht je hier geen probleem mee hebben op vakantie. ##### esther l. Vier Schlafplätze und eine sehr gut ausgestatte Wohnküche sorgen dafür, dass man Ruhe ausspannen kann. Die Vermieterin ist super nett und hat immer ein offenes Ohr für uns gehabt. Waren mit unseren 11 und 12 jährigen Kindern da. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Sehr nette und herzliche Gastgeber und wunderschöne Umgebung.
