The surrounding neighborhood is run down, but the row of vrbo houses is secured with a gate, and we never felt unsafe at all. The owner was wonderful to work with. He responded quickly to any questions we had, and even gave us recommendations of places to eat. unfortunately, we were there during a hurricane hit and the power and internet went out, so we had to abort our trip. but I would definitely recommend this place and will stay there again when I visit Augusta! The layout was perfect for our group of six adults, with four spacious bedrooms—three upstairs and a master suite downstairs—each with its own private bathroom and ample storage space. The open-concept kitchen and living area made it easy to gather and enjoy each other's company, and the two air conditioning units kept both floors comfortable throughout our stay.One of our favorite features was the large upstairs patio, which provided plenty of seating and a great space to relax. Parking was also a breeze, with a two-car garage and additional space in the rear. While we loved everything about the home, if there’s one small suggestion for improvement, it would be adding larger pots in the kitchen for cooking.Though I’d rate the neighborhood a 3 out of 5, we always felt completely safe.
