We have a lot of useful information there that is essential to know for your stay. The Space: In this apartment you'll find a fully functioning kitchen with a fridge, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and a Nespresso machine + milk frother! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need to cook your own meals. The open place space offers a dining table, couch and chairs and a TV with chrome cast. The bed is comfy and king-sized and there is a closet right next to it with plenty of storage. You'll find a washer/dryer in the bathroom. A clothes rack is also provided for those wanting to air dry their clothes. Here at Zodiak Stays, we provide our guests with free unlimited WIFI, towels and bed linen, as well as a welcome pack of starter amenities, and we use a high quality cleaning company so the apartment will be perfect for your arrival. The Neighborhood: Everything you need is within walking distance from the apartment! Here are some suggestions for things to see and do on your visit to Auckland: The Viaduct - the best bars and restaurants in the city! The New Zealand Maritime Museum is here, as well as Silo Park where you can watch outdoor films for free in the evening. You can also catch ferries from here to the amazing islands in the Hauraki Gulf like Waiheke, Tiritiri Matangi, and Rangitoto, as well as go on a whale and dolphin safari. Federal Street - next to the Sky Tower (you can't miss it!) There are a lot of really nice bars and restaurants and cafes in this street, as well as the Sky City Casino and of course the Sky Tower. Dine at the top of tower at restaurant with the best views in Auckland, and jump off the Sky Walk to get down Aotea Square - Auckland's cultural centre. Surrounding the square you'll find the Town Hall, Aotea Centre, Event cinemas, and two theatres (The Civic and the Q). The square itself is a nice place to people watch and sip some coffee. An ice-rink is the main attraction here during winter. Albert Park, Art Gallery and the Museum - Albert Park is a lovely place where you can chill and read, and the Auckland art gallery is next door on Wellesley Street. If you keep walking up Wellesley Street, past Auckland University, and across Grafton Road, you will eventually find Auckland Domain which is the biggest park in Auckland and has the Auckland War Memorial Museum, as well as an amazing botanical garden. Karangahape Road (a.k.a 'K' Road) - If you head up the hill on Queen Street, you'll eventually reach K Road, where you'll find Auckland's alternative night scene. Many great bars, live music, shisha cafes, and cheap takeaways are what K Road is known for. Ponsonby – If you head West of the CBD, you will find the Ponsonby area. There is old colonial-style architecture there, many great stores for shopping, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Some of the best restaurants in Auckland are here, especially great for fine dining as this is an up-market area of Auckland. Parnell - Known for it's variety of dining options, boutiques and galleries. Also many cool bars to check out. Non Solo Pizza is highly recommended if you're after great food, cocktails and buzzing atmosphere (for a mature crowd). Load up on fresh fruit and veg and enjoy a variety of food stalls every weekend at 545 Parnell Road is La Cigale - French Farmer's Market! There are also footpaths and bike trails that lead across the parklands of Auckland Domain. Apart from these mini adventures, Queen Street (main street the city) is filled with shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, live music venues, and more! Make sure you explore High Street as well, which lies just parallel to Queen Street. That whole area is very nice to walk, relax, or dine out in, and tends to be a bit cheaper than Queen Street if you want to do some shopping. If you want to explore further Auckland then you can take a walk towards the Viaduct from the apartment. There you will find Britomart station. (Bus and train) Getting Around: The best way to get around Auckland is by driving or catching an Uber. There are also many bus stops around and the ferry terminal is a short walk away for those wanting to take a trip to Devonport or Waiheke Island. Other Things to Note: Construction Notice – Quay Street Please be aware that construction work will be taking place on Quay Street from Monday, 1st December 2025, through to February 2026\. During this period, guests may experience general construction noise between 8:00am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience while this work is underway. Monthly Stays: We have a 10% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more. Key Pick-Up: The keys need to be collected from GuestEasy, which is on the Princes Wharf at the Shed 23 entrance. We will send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date. Parking: We do not have a free carpark for this building but nearby paid parking options are available. Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the property for a $85 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you. Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability. Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay: 450ml shampoo and conditioner, 450ml bodywash, 2x tea/coffee, 3x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes, but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement. Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed, a hand towel, face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay. Checkout Time: Checkout time is at 10am. This is a professionally managed property by Zodiak Stays so you can expect the very best in service, but please note it is not a serviced property. Interaction with Guests: I give my guests space but am available when needed. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm NZ time and we will try to respond to your messages/email as soon as possible.
