« This was a nice rental for our family trip to Detroit. It had all the things we needed-full kitchen with dishes, laundry, bathrooms as well as central air (we stayed in June 2023). It’s a historic house, so it has a different feel than a modern house, but it had all the amenities that were needed. The only thing that could be somewhat of an issue is the iron railings on the stairs for little ones or the elderly. « Home was as shown in pictures, everything was as you expect. Response from owners was quick & no major problems, but a bug/beetle in bedroom which I’m guessing came in from the window but otherwise no complaints. »

« The house was clean, and comfortable, nicely decorated and had everything you need. Additionally it’s in a safe and quiet neighborhood that’s not far from lots of fun restaurants and bars and other great spots! The hosts were courteous and attentive but not overbearing. I really enjoyed my stay. »

« The place is fantastic and the location is in a great spot. So close to many things but the water is the best part. Lake living lives up to its promise in late summer here! The owner is an amazing host and superb communicator. This is our second visit to her location and it’s hard to say goodbye to the wonderfulness of her place and our old friends.
