"First time to Male and I should have done more research. I figured the location being close to the beach would be great but phase ii island is under lots of construction and doesn't have the services that phase I has so this is a great location if you want steps. The noise from construction and the road noise was constant. The room cooled well, but the bathroom stayed a little warm. "The Baros Island is beautiful and has an amazing house reef, with plenty of sharks, turtles, rays and an amazing array of beautiful fish. The resort in parts is a little tired and but the management are on the case. The food and service were first class and made for an delightful two weeks. Our host Shinta was excellent, no request was too much trouble and she was on hand to assist with any issues that arose. A special mention to Keeth in F&B his dedication to service and guest care were excellent. As was Chef Lakshitha in his warm hospitality and wonderful menus/creations. "
