Unit must book a 7 night stay, but off season the check in and check out date can vary. Please inquire! This Tar Landing condo is the perfect family vacation home! Families and friends will enjoy the breath-taking ocean views. Come sit on Papa Jim's front porch and have an ice-cold glass of sweet tea, or relax and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. The spacious & comfortable condo is outfitted with everything you will need while on vacation. Plus the community pool and clubhouse are always a hit! There is also a small shallow pool for very young children, and plenty of nice lounge chairs and seating to catch some rays and relax. There is a swing set area for the little ones to get rid of some of their energy. And the best part about this unit is the private community beach walkway is directly across from the unit! Just a 2 minute walk to the beach from your front door. Can't beat that! The walkway features an area to rinse off all the sand from the beach, including a foot spray and shower. Please be aware this unit only allows 2 car parking spaces. There is an area by the mailboxes where one other car can be parked. It is located outside the gate. But this space cannot be guaranteed. There is no other overflow parking inside the gated community. HOA requires parking passes inside the complex, and they monitor this daily. HOA will not allow more than 10 people to stay per unit, so please keep this in mind when booking. Guests are not allowed to have pets. All At Waves Edge guests pay a 55.00 damage protection fee at time of booking. This covers you up to 1500.00, ONLY IF GUESTS REPORT the DAMAGES BEFORE CHECK OUT to the PROPERTY MANAGER. Check in after 4 pm, and check out before 10 am. As you enter into this gorgeous condo, on the left side you will see a bedroom with two twin day beds. A full bath connects with the next bedroom-which has three twin beds and a full bed. This area would be perfect for the children to gather in. There is a Smart TV in this room for the kids to enjoy. The washer and dryer are on this floor in a hallway closet, and across from the laundry is a closet with an extra fridge to keep cold drinks and extra food supplies. Head upstairs to the second floor where you will find the beautiful kitchen with stylish granite counter-tops. The kitchen opens up directly to the living room and dining area, and from there head outside on the deck to see the spectacular view of the ocean. There is a Smart TV in the main living room for family viewing. Just past the kitchen are a bar area and a full bath that leads into another bedroom. This bedroom has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. Notice the private door that leads outside... The top floor has two bedrooms, both with king-size beds. Each bedroom has it's own large bathroom with double vanities and a garden tub/shower combo.. \*Bonus\* there is an extra stand up shower that joins both bathrooms together! Plenty of places for everyone to get cleaned up after the beach :) Both of these rooms have Smart TVs to enjoy a little relaxing time. This amazing home is extremely close to Fort Macon’s State park. No boats, jet skis, trailers, campers, or motorcycles are allowed at Tar Landing. All TVs are Smart TVs, so log into your own apps or bring your Roku or Firestick. There was plenty of room for everyone! Really loved have the extra fridge on the first floor. The view of the ocean was really nice and relaxing. We loved our stay at Tar Landing 408! The layout was perfect for our big family group! Lots of room and space for all to relax! The condo was neat and beautifully decorated! We enjoyed the swing on the deck and the view of the ocean. It is convenient to Fort Macon for fishing! We would stay here again! Very convenient to go to the beach and the pool. It was the best location of the complex. The lighting in the condo was great, but might need an up date on a few fans and fixtures, but that’s just an opinion from a lighting girl. My daughter asked if we could stay at this condo every time we come. So I would say it was a great mini vacation for our family and friends. ❤️❤️ ##### Melissa F. Kitchen was a little small but well equiped incuding blender. If you don't like Teflon bring your own skillet. Having 2 refrigerators was wonderful! Felt safe in the gated community. Parking was a pain because we had more that 2 cars and only permitted 2 car passes. Pool was great! Wonderful view of ocean. Grandkids loved the downstairs room that had the 4 adorable beds. ##### Tesa S. We would definitely stay here again! Great spot, awesome access to the beach and lots of space for a crowd. Some comments below, but great rental overall! Pros: Front door access to the beach Space throughout the condo 2 full refrigerators Very comfortable beds, pillows and bedding Comfortable porch furniture, including a cool swing Filtered water in kitchen Well stocked kitchen Grill, grill utensils and charcoal Comfy living room Property manager, Heather is a gem, so easy to work with, and cares about her owners and guests! Very easy to work with. Cons: Small Outside trash can and dumpster is far away and gets full quickly Small kitchen Kitchen furniture takes up a lot of space, so it's tough to move around during meals Parking - only 2 spots Out of date TVs and Stereo equipment No TV in front downstairs basement (with two trundles) ##### Jenny W. We loved our stay! We have been coming to Atlantic Beach for over 15 years for summer vacation. Our family has grown and we decided to try a new place. The condo was perfect for our group of 9 and we still had plenty of extra room. It was 3 levels, so a great option for families with young kids who want to stay up after the kids are in bed. It was clean, beds were very comfortable, condo was well stocked and it was a perfect walking distance to the beach. Heather was great to work with!
