The Neighborhood Situated in a highly gentrified neighborhood in the middle of bustling downtown Atlanta (Northwest side). The area emanates a peaceful vibe, perfect for relaxation, but still is part of the inner city, keep that in mind before booking. You’ll be just a stone\`s throw away from trendy local spots, enticing eateries, and delightful shops and near Westside Reservoir Park. You’ll also be near landmarks like 3.4 miles from Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Georgia Aquarium, 4 miles from CNN Center and World Congress Center & about 15 miles from the airport. Getting Around The nearest international airport is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), located about 15 miles from the property. There are plenty of transportation options. You can also take a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft or go by taxi. If you prefer public transportation, there are train/subway and Marta (bus) transportation options too. Other things to note Please note the following important information before booking: The property is located in a highly gentrified neighborhood in the middle of bustling downtown Atlanta, with lots of activity, people on the streets, nightly noises, and possible construction at times. We’d just like you to understand this before booking the home! We do allow events at this location (within reason), so please inquire for details. Must have approval before the event occurs. Also, this is Georgia! There are a lot of wooded areas. Please be aware that bugs may be seen. And while we do have pest control scheduled quarterly, bugs can still get into the home. This is out of our control, and NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN. It’s best not to leave any open food out to minimize any insect visitors. Thank you in advance for your understanding. We do not provide daily housekeeping services. However, the property will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival, and basic essentials such as toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and hand and body soap will be provided to get you started. Please do not flush feminine products (i.e., tampons) or wipes in the toilet. Please use the waste basket provided. Also, do not put food or grease down the kitchen sink. A $300 charge will apply if the sink or toilet becomes clogged. Please don’t use the towels for makeup removal. Makeup stains are very difficult to clean, and we need to charge for makeup-stained sheets and towels. Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation. Surveillance cameras are located in outdoor common areas and public spaces and are strictly for security reasons to ensure guests\` safety. We all felt very comfortable and safe in the home, but beyond the street the house is on, the neighborhood was a little rough. Games for the kids, everything was about a 10- 15 minute drive. This property was beautiful and the pictures didn't do it any justice. The property manager was very courteous and she checked in with us daily to make sure everything was fine. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that needed to be addressed: the backyard patio was in horrific condition and the furniture was covered up full of dust leaves and outdoor debris. We wanted to use the back patio so we went ahead and cleaned it up for use outside. One of the beds has a few boards missing underneath, and the mattress is too small for the frame. As a result, it poses as a safety and dangerous hazard to step on or sit on the front end of the bed due to the fact that you will fall through. Also, the neighbors have these extremely aggressive dogs that bar nonstop 24 hours a day that is extremely annoying when you trying to use the back patio in peace. I know that’s not the owners fault. Also, there was no type of toiletries inside of the bathroom outside of hand soap. We pretty much had to buy everything in terms of use inside of the kitchen and the bathroom. The outside was not clean, not ready to uses a lot of spider webs and dusty. I loved the extra apartment bonus in the house and of course the POOL TABLE! Some things that I didn’t enjoy was the dusty fixtures and spiderwebs all over the house. The area is being gentrified but the neighborhood was nice and the neighbors were friendly. We had some issues with appliances. The microwave was locked and it took a couple of hours and a few YouTube videos and the manager to get it to work. The electricity in the kitchen island with the stove went out a few times during the week. The ice maker never worked. But we really appreciated the rain shower and especially loved the fireplace. Most of the businesses have graffiti and bars on the windows and the neighbors will walk down the street with baseball bats. When I try to say I do not feel safe staying there. they said my safety is not their priority, then accused me of being racist. The area has a 400% crime rate. ##### Jodi L. Bed upstairs is NOT a queen it is a FULL at best on a queen frame. We have photos to support this. Prop managers argued with me this is a queen its not. Mold on front wall of house hidden by a couch and air purifier and fragrances all over and over whelming to breath. When you unplug you find whats being hidden. Ice maker frozen over so dont plan on having any. Bring towels if you want more than 1 per stay, We had 6 people and 1 towel and 1 handtowel and 1 wash cloth per person for 4 days. Bring sheets and blankets if you need someone to sleep on a couch, there arent any for extra use. I would suggest them spending some money on things like shampoo conditioner towels and blankets for the guest. The house is nicely renovated and decorated but lacking in normal basic necessities when staying at home. We left our stay a day early and wouldnt recommend this home due to all the issues. And the home next door being boarded up and abandonded doesnt leave you feeling safe. ##### Joy P.
