Great stay the views are wonderful! Definitely will stay there again! No issues very secured and felt safe. The touristy things are in walking distance such as the Coca-Cola facility and Georgia Aquarium.

#### Exceeding Expectations 

This place was beautiful. It truly exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean, and beautiful. The views were absolutely amazing. Everyone woke up feeling awesome and we all bragged about how comfortable our beds were. I highly recommend this place. It is worth every cent.

#### Excellent Stay

I was pleasantly surprised with this place, it was beautifully decorated with great views of the city. It was very clean and the host checked in on us to make sure everything was OK. It was downtown and conveniently close to everything. I also appreciated the extra security provided. A key fob was required to get into the building, and again to go anywhere on the elevator. It also had gated parking that required a parking pass to get through the gate. Very neat little place in a convenient location.

Our experience was great! Very Cozy location had all of the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. Just needed extra pillows in closet for guest. Other than that it was excellent accommodations I will definitely stay here again. Very inviting and decor was spot on.

#### Close to everything

Grew up in Georgia, but this was the first time I had ever visited Atlanta as a tourist. This location put us in the perfect position to do all kinds of things that Atlanta is known for- the Aquarium, museums, cool dining spots, The Varsity, etc. -convenience was key in a city known for the craziest traffic jams on the planet

I can’t say enough great things about this property and its host! Communication is prompt and friendly. Instructions are clear and detailed. I stayed here for 10 days while attendingMarket and a football game. The building is secure, clean and friendly. The apartment itself is just …wonderful and looks exactly as the pictures. It is comfortable and had everything we needed. The view is wonderful. You can easily walk to the Georgia Aquarium, Coke Museum, Centennial Olympic Park, Mercedes Benz Stadium and Atlanta Breakfast Club to name a few wonderful spots. I will definitely stay here again!

#### A Purple Paradise

The Velvet Room was our home base for a week with my 16 year old granddaughter. What a dream for both Granddaughter and GranDiva! The booking and instructions were a breeze. And from the moment we opened the door we felt like Princesses surrounded by such delightful furnishings. We slept well in the comfortable beds, used the kitchen for some home cooked meals, worked out in the gym, and after each fun filled day we enjoyed the pool. Close to the sights like the Aquarium and Coca-Cola Museum we walked to most of our sight seeing. Much better than a Hotel! Thank you to our hosts for making our adventures easy and a dream vacation for my granddaughter!

#### Awesome Velvet!

Our family left the South Carolina coast to avoid hurricane Debby. We found the Velvet Room on the VRBO website and it looked perfect for our urgent need. Too good to be true, right? Wrong!!! First, the hosts helped us work around the VRBO same day booking restriction and book the unit on the morning of our departure from the beach. Communication was the best I have encountered for a short-term rental. On arrival, the apartment was beautiful, well furnished and stocked and spotless! The location was perfect! We walked to the Hard Rock for dinner, the Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park and the Atlanta Breakfast Club to name a few. The staff and security in the building were very friendly and we felt quite safe there. The pool was wonderful! Thank you, Shante' and Jordan for a perfect stay!

This place was great. I love all the purple. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Great communication. Could easily walk to the Mercedes-Benz stadium and other places.

We got to the apartment at 3:00pm and was pleasantly surprised. The apartment is perfect for our family of 3 adults. It is well laid out, very comfortable furniture and beds and has everything you would want or need, even providing coffee and tea! It is a great location, close to the aquarium and several other attractions. The host is very attentive and quickly answered any questions we had. The onsite pool was enjoyable after a hot day of sight seeing. I highly recommend this to anyone.

#### Great Unit! Perfect for a girls trip 

We loved the unit and had no complaints. The unit was decorated nicely and was clean. The amenities were also a hit! The only downfall was the location & neighboring tenants. This listing should be geared more so towards the younger generation. The second elevator was down which caused delays in coming and going. There were also large congregations of younger individuals getting on and off the elevator and also hanging out outside of the premises. While we were chatting late Saturday evening, we heard loud, rapid fire/gun shots. We looked out the window and saw three individuals running. Three seconds later, about 15 officers surrounded the area. Later that evening/morning a neighbor on our same floor got into an altercation in the hallway with their significant other. We had an eventful weekend to say the least. Outside of those events, the unit is impeccable!!! It’s unfortunate it’s located in the area that it is.

The floors were dirty, the kitchen sink was dirty, the bathroom mirrors were dirty, there was hair in the shower. This was a very bad first impression of the velvet room which made us question the cleanliness of other things: bed sheets, furniture, towels. It’s sad that the first thing we had to do on our vacation was a load of laundry of the towels so that we felt comfortable showering. We were offered 50 for the inconvenience which honestly was insulting that so little was offered but take what you can get I guess?
