Near Stone Mountain Park. House is minutes from beautiful Stone Mountain Park. The property is easy to get into I-20 and Hwy 78, it’s 30 miles to airport; 20 minutes to Downtown/Midtown Atlanta for shopping and nightlife. 2). Not far to Vampire Diaries Filming Locations. It’s 5.5 miles Hyw 124, then 13 mile I-20 to the famous Vampire Diaries Filming Locations in Covington. This property is in the between of Atlanta downtown and Covington. This area is a suburban neighborhood with beautiful lake in metro Atlanta. Enjoy your own private space in this bright lake house, viewing beautiful lake from own back deck. 3). Free fishing & gardening. Boating with permission. You can enjoy boating, fishing, swimming pool (community pool) in good season. Fishing is free, no license required. Boating has to be asked for permission, and fees separately adds-on. There are many wild Canadian geese at lake, and there are two domestic white geese belong to this property, you can feed and pet the white geese. You can pick up the organic vegetables from garden at backyard. 4). Good for people like "country / natural life style". Please do NOT booking, if you have different taste. There is NO TV in bedrooms, only 2 TV in living room and home office, free wifi. We use high technology to BLOCK online advertisements and inappropriate information not suitable to young kids / non PG-13\. There are computer (educational robot software installed) and some LEGO robotics educational sets in living room, good for family who emphasis children education. There are also organic vegetables garden at backyard, home pet geese in lake shore, which allows guests to pick up seasonal vegetables, and feed geese. This house was built around 1995, with real wood floors, but maybe wares out throughout times; some beds were handmade real wood sturdy frames. Bed sheets and liens are majorly cotton. Guarantee NO harmful chemical residues in this property. Please do NOT compare this country style vacation lake-house with franchise hotels/motels, which are located at busy and noisy areas. Please do NOT unrealistically imagine this family oriented vacation lake house as luxury hotels/motels places, which rooms furnished with unnatural materials, with no private backyard, with no sunshine, no garden and lake. The space: Up stairs: one bedroom has Queen bed, another bedroom has 1 full size bed and 1 twin size bed. One full bathroom, one laundry room are hall way entrance. Beautiful lake view from the back rooms. The rest spaces are locked as non-rental storage rooms. Down Stairs: The granite counter top kitchen and living areas are very open, and full of sunshine light, with pretty lake view. 1 queen size sofa bed (colorful) is located at home office area, which has computer, DVD player, meeting projector, Kids LEGO and Robotics, bicycle, located at the front room. One long reclining leather sofa, 1 full size sofa bed are located at the back room. The half bath room is access from hallway. The rest spaces (garage not for rent) are locked as non-rental storage rooms. Outside House: Large wood deck, fenced back yard, fenced lake bank area. House is in the good lake views, good for people enjoy natural life styles. There are many wild Canadian geese at lake, and there are two domestic white swans belong to this property, you can feed and pet the white swans. You can pick up the organic vegetables from garden at backyard. Nov 29, 2021 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Lakehouse in lithona We enjoyed our stay we arrived the evening before Thanksgiving were giving instructions how to enter the house before we arrived unlocked the door and my wife and my 8yr began to explore the house we quickly found a extra key along with wifi password plenty of space down stairs nice wood floors unpacked and picked a bedroom and we all rushed out back on the deck to see the setting sun on the lake just beautiful then back inside to start dinner we loved the motorized reclining couch very very comfortable kitchen was neat and tidy on the second evening after visiting family for turkey day my son and I left early came back to the lakehouse for a lil fishing out back I fish alot at home in my local lake and bass tournaments went out back caught four nice bass in 30 min lost a couple all were released to fight another day we will definitely book this house again my one and only complaint which had nothing to do with the house was the barking dog next door smh 3 legs and barked constantly other that uncontrollable God's creature 😀 we loved our stay neighborhood was quiet and house is a couple miles from a grocery store and other shopping areas which was a plus whole stay was a A+ ##### John B. I loved the Lakeview and feeding of the ducks. Lots of room and space for my small clan that was there with me.. The amenities for the kitchen and bathroom was a very nice touch. We really appreciated that.. However, I would recommend you getting better pillows for the main bedroom. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay there. Had to use a small refrigerator because the large refrigerator didn't work. Low air flow in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Lights falling out of the ceiling. The wrong size blinds used in the dining room. Light covers missing from some of the ceiling lights and light above the sink didn't work at all. Bed sheet used as a curtain for large window above front door. Exterior of the house was dirty and covered in spider webs like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. Last but not least, the ducks that practically attack you for food. Had to use an umbrella to scare them away so we could enter home. We cut our 3 night stay to just 1 night and found another place to spend our vacation. I didn't contact the owner because there was nothing they could do. We like this lake side vacation house, it's truly a great gateway for family and friends. We like the rooms, furniture, kitchen, yard, lake, LEGO, computer, etc. ... Everything feels like natural, organic, authentic (no fake, no artificial), just like a real home-away place. Especially the hand-made real wood beds, such sturdy and strong, makes my wife memorized grand-day's true love ! Children like to feed the geese, which give them so many joy; the organic vegetable garden, fishes in the lake, can be seen by eye. All these natural life style are big attractions to children, and made children get rid of the addictions of cell phone and video game; children are enjoy and busy at many indoor and outdoor activities. Women are so enjoy the lake view, clean hardwood floors, true cotton liens, bed sheets, new refrigerator, instant pot, fancy induction stove. Having coffee in the deck to view the beautiful lake at morning and evening, it's such a great relax vacation ! Men are enjoy the vegetable garden, the fishing and boating options in backyard lake, we even pick up the cucumbers and tomatoes from the garden; they are so FRESH and JUICY, all NATURE and ORGANIC ! Kids are enjoy the special pets -- two white geese / ducks / swan -- whatever the name, they are so cute, looks like a boy and a girl, they are nested in the backyard lake-shore, and will come to front yard to ask for food, when they hear about people are in the house. Property manager leave some bread and rice inside refrigerator for the white geese, and told us how to feed and pet them. Our children indeed have great fun in this lake house.
