For those who love the outdoors you cannot miss the furnished veranda, with sea view and a seating area, ideal for the peaceful sunny days of Greece. The Archaeological Museum of Piraeus displays objects from classical antiquity found in the area of Piraeus and the greater coastal zone, typical of the history and culture of the ancient city. The city also houses the Hellenic Maritime Museum, with exhibits relating to the nautical tradition of Greece, the Merchant Shipping History Institute Exhibition, the Panos Aravantinos Decor Museum, the floating Georgios Averof Museum (located on a historic battleship), and the Museum of Electric Railways, hosted in the Piraeus station. The Municipal Art Gallery and the Municipal Library (one of the largest libraries in Greece) are also prominent within the culture of Piraeus. Piraeus is the main port of Greece and its location makes it ideal for short city escapes. Transportation is easy from the apartment as the closest bus station is just 170m away. The supermarket is located just 60m away, coffee shops and restaurants are also within a short walking distance. There is a great local market for shopping in Sotiros pedestrian str. 700m away that you can go walking from the seaside, enjoying the nice view.
