Perfect for couples,friends and explorers. Ideal as a starting point for people who want close access to historical sites and the local nightlife. The apartment is a stone’s-throw away from the Athenian Center and major attractions from all the City’s landmarks including Syntagma square, yet strategically aside enough for seclusion. The Space: The apt is located at the 6th floor of the building. There is one main bedroom with a comfy double bed. There is a big bright living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with the amenities and cookware for preparing a breakfast and a normal meal. The Neighborhood: Main Attractions in the area: \- Strefi Hill, despite its small extent it constitutes a green oasis in the centre of the city. Here you can find sport facilities and a summer stone theatre, while from the top you have panoramic view of the city. \- Lycabetus Theater. Times past perhaps but the area retains a scruffy bohemian atmosphere. As there are plenty of police around I never felt unsafe here day or night. And scruffy bohemian is a good description of this apartment - if you want luxury living then go pay luxury prices. It is specious but basic but had everything I needed for a place to stay - somewhere to put my stuff, somewhere to sleep and somewhere to make my own food. It has a lovely little balcony for you to soak up the sun. And great communication with and help from the owners.As well as great value for money the apartment has a great location - 20 minutes walk from Syndagma and parliment square, 10 minutes from Omonia Square and the National Archeology Museum and less than 30 minutes walk from the Acropolis.I'd be more than happy to return to this area of Athens and to this apartment ##### Wayne M.
