The staff was great and very friendly. We were given Room 603, which was very modern, clean, and nice. The room was small, but that was not a problem for us since we were only staying for two nights. The location was also very convenient, as it was close to the places we were visiting in Athens. The main issue we experienced was that our room did not have any windows. The heater was on, and there was no proper ventilation, which made the room extremely hot. We were sweating a lot and felt very uncomfortable. We went to the front desk three times asking for help. One of the girls at the front desk was clearly frustrated but tried her best to assist us. Unfortunately, the issue could not be resolved right away. we even contacted Expedia, but they were waiting for the hotel manager to call us back, and no immediate solution was offered. Because of this, we decided to leave the hotel. However, just as we were ready to go, a staff member came to our room and explained to us that he needed permission from the manager who wasn't onsite to toggle the hvac controls to allow the room to receive AC,he manually adjusted the heater.we were able to get some sleep, although the temperature was still not completely comfortable. The second night was even hotter, but we managed to sleep despite the discomfort. Water and coffee was restock daily in our room and towels were changed everyday as well. We received an email from them a few days before we arrived asking if there was anything they could do to make our stay better. I asked for a 2nd blanket for the pull out bed as our kids would be sharing a bed and don't do well with sharing blankets. Not only did we have an extra blanket for them, but also extra pillows as well. Nice Central location, about a 20 minute walk from everything. Easy to get to by Metro from the airport. Breakfast was great although the selection was the same every day but I'm not going to complain to much about that. The property features a clean, minimalist design, though it lacks the opulence, luxury and ambience expected of a true five-star hotel. Rooms are tastefully appointed and spotless, but the curved headboard design makes it awkward and uncomfortable to reach the bedside table. Service is among the hotel’s greatest strengths—professional, courteous, and genuinely attentive without being intrusive. The staff’s sincerity adds warmth to the overall experience. Where the hotel falls short of its five-star rating is in its limited amenities and scale. The reception area is compact, and the absence of a proper lounge gives it more of a four-star boutique feel. Breakfast is served on a cramped section of the bar counter; while varied and somewhat adequate, it lacks the presentation and refinement associated with five-star luxury hotels. Breakfast was to die for!! The hotel was in an excellent location in the heart of Athens right across from the acropolis. One issue was that there were some problems with the door handles and locks on the rooms. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars!! They also helped arrange transportation from the airport and then to the port to leave for our cruise which was extremely helpful! We had the most amazing stay at Eternity Athens. The rooms were wonderful and had every amenity you would require, the staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast was AMAZING!!! The hotel is centrally located in Athens and is within walking distance to lots of main attractions and restaurants.
