This is a family-friendly property. The house has balconies off some of the the bedrooms and two outdoor porches in which to enjoy the outdoor views and the beautiful sunrises. There is a children's park below the property that has a splash pad. We toured the Evah Cray Home, Amelia Earhart’s Birthplace Museum, the Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum, and the stunning Benedictine Abbey. Each one was an experience worth recommending 100%. But the true centerpiece of our trip? A day in Weston, MO—just a quick 20-minute drive over the Missouri border. If you haven’t been, put it on your list!At one point, someone asked me if I’d ever been to Atchison before. My response? "Not intentionally."
