"We come up for a half marathon race every spring and have stayed at this hotel the last two years (my friend the last 3). We’re pretty low maintenance and really just need a clean quiet place to sleep and shower. Last year this hotel was perfect for that. Unfortunately this year not so much. I don’t know if they’re in a transition with cleaning crew but it was pretty gross. The lobby floor was filthy and sticky and others checking in were quickly coming back to the desk because they were being sent to rooms that hadn’t been cleaned. Our room was made up but dirty. Dirty towels were left in the closet. There was trash and stains on the floor where previous guests had spilled something. The bedding also had stains on it. There was a dead bug on the ceiling and the vents in the bathroom were filthy. On top of that there were loud guests running around slamming doors and talking loudly past midnight. The staff was polite and nice but I will look for alternative options if we come back for the same race in future years. "
