There was a shuttle bus that met us at the Shinkansen station that took us to the Onsen. When we arrived, we were ushered to a comfortable lobby for check-in. The bellman showed us the entire hotel and onsen, and walked us through our kimonos and slippers. Lovely breakfast, lovely rooms, lovely Onsen... and another free shuttle back to the Shinkansen station. We will definitely return! The staff were absolutely delightful and went out of their way to accommodate any requests including the dietary requirements of one person in our group. We were on the breakfast and dinner meal package and the options each day were fantastic, with a vast selection of European and Japanese options. One thing to note is that the hotel isn’t located in a town centre. Instead, it’s directly opposite a beginner lift in the Imori area, giving easy access to the slopes. The hotel itself is fairly basic, but it’s very clean and the staff more than make up for it with their warmth and helpfulness. There are free hot drinks in the foyer, an onsen, washing/drying facilities and the hotel will provide free transfers to train/bus station (or even to Lawsons/711 if you need supplies!) There’s also a games room with a pool table and table tennis. If you’re looking for nightlife, this probably isn’t the spot for you; but for a relaxed, comfortable tradtitonal Japanese ski stay, we couldn’t fault it." The only thing I did not like was: a man’s hot spring was much bigger and had 4-5 kinds of hot tubs. In contrary, a female had only one hot tub.
