Summary: Located Just 10 minutes from downtown Asheville, and 3 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, this private mountain house is the perfect home base for relaxing by the fire, cooking in the chef's kitchen and taking in the beautiful tree filled surroundings- with plenty of space for the whole family, you’ll feel right at home at this cozy mountain getaway! \*\*\*Please note we do not allow any work vehicles or equipment on property. Neighborhood roads and driveways are not suitable.\*\*\* The Space: Step into this well enjoyed mountain home, set on 8 acres of forested land, offering privacy, natural beauty, and room to roam. The wraparound porch invites you to unwind with a drink under starlight or sip your morning coffee while listening to songbirds. A short walk along a wooded path leads you to a pond and fire-pit area—perfect for evenings roasting s’mores or telling stories around the fire. Step inside the main level of the home, where the open living area offers plenty of space for everyone to gather and spend time together. The chef’s kitchen is a highlight, featuring dual ovens, dual dishwashers, a farmhouse sink, and generous counter space- perfect for holiday dinners or casual cooking nights. The master suite (Bedroom 1) located off of the main level living room boasts (1) king bed, en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet, and a dedicated workspace with serene forest views. A convenient half bath is located just off the living room. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks. Failure to follow this policy may result in additional cleaning fees or removal from the property. \*Due to insurance restrictions, the following breeds are not permitted: Dobermans, Chows, Rottweilers, Akitas, Pit Bulls (American Staffordshire Terriers), attack dogs, and wolf hybrids. \*\*Please no work trucks and/or equipment. House spacious for all of us including our dog -the small, fenced area off the kitchen came in handy for quick potty breaks. Location was great. Major complaint: bathrooms were NOT as advertised. Listed as 3 full/3 half but house only had 2.5 BA. Listing still not corrected even after notifying owner. I chose this property because when this group travels together, we do best with having a full bath for each couple. So much open space, comfortable accomodations and very well appointed. Much larger than I had anticipated. Loved the porches, fire places, and huge tub. Very quiet neighborhood.
