This home is currently undergoing a whole home remodel and will be freshly appointed upon your arrival. Our 3 bed 1 bath cottage is great for a family vacation to Sliding Rock, a weekend getaway with friends, or simply a place to rest after a long day's hike in the mountains. Pets are welcome! Everything was clean and easy to find and use. My husband and I enjoy mini-vacations in many of the the quaint towns of Western North Carolina, and this choice did not disappoint. This cottage is in a residential neighborhood and is a convenient driving distance to the downtown restaurants, visitor center and shops. The backyard had a great space for our Lucy Dog to explore. The yard is not completely fenced, but Lucy was content to stay in the yard and there was never traffic to worry about. This home is managed by the owner and he replied to my only text question, which was, "Who does your decorating?" He told me that his wife Jane had been in charge of the decor and the art and the fixtures and the remodeling design. It is really lovely and well done! We hope to return one day! ##### Kay W.
