Very Clean Loft Style Cottage .. Kitchen, TV room, sleepiest sleeping bedrooms EVER, very nice bathroom (big shower with endless hot water), & patio with outdoor fire-pit with • HOT TUB •

The area offers exceptional outdoor recreational activities:
  • Minutes from Downtown Brevard (although, when you are here, you feel you are miles from nowhere).
  • 15 minutes from the National & State Forests... this place is not just famous for the best hiking & mountain biking, but also for all of the beautiful waterfalls, which earned its nickname "The Land of Waterfalls."
  • “Pura Vida” is on the road that hosts The Assault on the Carolinas as well as 1000s of recreational road bike riders each year.

"Pura Vida" ill sleep 6:
  • Bedroom 1 - queen size bed (sleeps 2)
  • Bedroom 2 - bunk bed with 2 single (sleeps 2)
  • In main room: Sofa bed queen (sleeps 2)

We have new Tempur pedic Breeze style mattresses (very comfy, but not hot)
  • Each mattress is steam cleaned after each use.
  • All linens & bedding (towels, wash cloths, sheets, pillows & comforter) are washed with organic detergent & the final step is to steam sanitize.

Families, stay here!
This property is perfect for families. We had very little people to 70+ age people and everyone had a ball. The indoor gym, pool table, and ping pong table were in constant use. The kitchen, eating, lounging, and play space is all together, which was great. There’s a projection system, hot tub, and fire pit to enjoy. Bedrooms are comfortable and bathrooms are good. The owners are very hospitable and communicative. Beautiful Brevard is minutes away for exploring. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in Pura Vida while visiting family in the area. We loved the property and the privacy and enjoyed walking around with our pups and the visits from the resident cat each night. Great proximity to the Brevard downtown shops and restaurants.

the owner was friendly and available to answer questions very quickly. We needed a couple of things (bike wash and a sharper knife in the kitchen) which were provided right away. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately the dryer was not working while we were there; the owner let us know upon check in.

Great stay in Brevard
Brevard is a great little town with lots of restaurants, shops, and a huge playground (Franklin Park). This house is just a short drive away from all this. It’s also about a 30 minute drive from the Elijah Mountain Gem Mine (kids loved) and Pisgah National Forest hiking and waterfalls. The house was great. Everyone loved the hot tub and TVs in each bedroom (2 bedrooms and living room). The hosts were very responsive and nice.

My only concern is that it is listed as 3 bedroom. The '3rd bedroom' is actually just part of the entryway/living room. I would list is as 2 bedroom.

Relaxing slice of mountain paradise
What a great place to stay! The property is just outside of town but close to everything. We were there for a long weekend with our kids and all had a great time. We spent our mornings enjoying coffee on the porch and a morning walk, days were spent hiking in the Pisgah or shopping in nearby towns, afternoons at a different brewery each day, and evenings with a dip in the hot tub. The kids (4 & 6) had a blast on the playground and exploring the property. Cindy and Robert (the hosts) live on the property and were attentive to our needs. They want to make sure each guest has what they need and enjoys their stay. They even gave us free range chicken eggs to enjoy! We can’t wait to go back!

Home away from home
Very welcoming and clean. Coffee pot, tea pot, bathroom soaps, clean bedding. With how humid it is in NC I was happy to find the bed sheets cool, clean and fresh. Our daughters loved the hot tub and staying up late at night talking and watching the stars. A sweet old cat hung around outside and our daughters loved on her during whole stay. Will absolutely try to book again if we are blessed enough to travel back to NC from MT.

Great little place for our family
The house was very nice and exactly what we need for our vacation. My son loved the playground and running around the property. The only issue we had was with the dryer not working, but Cindy and Robert were very quick to try and get it fixed. Overall we had a great time!

Fun getaway weekend
Our family enjoyed our stay here. The kids especially loved the hot tub, fire pit, giant chess/checkers, and the playground with trampoline! The house is so close to Brevard and also a quick drive to Pisgah and Hendersonville, where we always enjoy going.

Nice property near Asheville
We enjoyed our stay at the Yellow Cottages Pura Vida property. The space was essentially a great room/kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms are small, but it was a big enough space for my family of four (2 kids - one almost 2 and one 6 year old). Everything is updated and clean. Internet was faster than I thought it'd be given the area (about 30-35 Mbps inside the front door for those who need this info). We streamed Hulu/Disney+ without incident. The property is a very short drive to Pisgah national forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway there. It's roughly 90-120 minutes to the Mt Mitchell area of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and about 2 hrs to Gatlinburg. About 40 minutes to downtown Asheville/Biltmore The listing is already an excellent value in the area, but will be an outstanding value when they install their pool.

We had a wonderful time. The property was fantastic for our Family as it offers tons for the kids to play and they loved the hot tub. The home was impeccable and well stocked. Cindy was very helpful with any and all questions. Brevard is such a cute town and the hiking nearby was perfect! We would definitely stay again!

Weekend Getaway
We had such a fun time during our stay. Plenty of room, adorable set up of cottage, the hot tub was a perk for sure😍. So sad we didn’t have time to enjoy the outside games, but will definitely be back. The property is really close to so many waterfalls and hiking trails, as well as the down town area. We were also able to enjoy some snow tubing at Moonshine Mountain Tubing. Such a fun weekend!!!

Great Stay
We had a great stay. We loved the property, location & the owners (and their kids) were very helpful. No more than 10 min away from shops & grocery stores. Only thing we were sad about was the zip line & fishing not being available as advertised but the kids loved the play ground area & just exploring the land. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice location far enough out but not too far of a drive from town. Kids had fun in the hot tub and playground space with trampoline. Clean and well maintained. We will probably bring back our extended family to stay in the other available cottages for a retreat in the future!

Great place for the value, hot tub was disappointing
This was a really nice property. The house was very clean inside. We enjoyed our stay overall. It was a good deal for the price. Some things were a little odd, I thought. Everything that went into making the property was high end. High end gas stove inside, nice gas grill outside, etc. But if you want to cook, bring pretty much everything. There were the basics inside, but no utensils to cook on the grill. The bedrooms had barn doors hung, and they don’t block out any noise, which was a little difficult for us trying to put down a 2 year old for naps and bedtime. We had to be quiet in the main living area or go outside. The bathroom light comes on automatically, but it turns off while your showering and then you have to reach your arm out to turn it on again? The biggest disappointment was the hot tub needed to be cleaned. It smelled musty, and we ended up not getting in it after the 1st night. But it’s really close to town, you have you’re own side patio, great view of the stars at night. My husband and I played a game of checkers on the giant board on the property. We picked a fresh cucumber to eat right of the grounds. So again, overall good place for the value.

Peaceful Getaway
Our family stayed here in hopes of enjoying a family vacation despite COVID restrictions. We enjoyed our own living quarters with unique touches, our own hot tub, and exploring the grounds. There were tons of fun activities for the kids, a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and nearby shops and restaurants. We explored the cute town of Brevard, waterfalls in the area, and just took some time to relax and recharge. Robert and Cindy were very gracious hosts. Our children have asked if we can return here yearly and I would love that!
