I don't usually leave long reviews, but I'm compelled to share about our experience because it's important. The city of Asheville is back in business and the people that live there and make their livelihood in the hospitality industry are ready to welcome you back. We recently stayed at David's property for a weekend concert at Harrah's Cherokee Center. The apartment is exactly as advertised in the pictures and description. It is clean, comfortable, and quite peaceful. Designated off street parking 30 feet from the door was very nice. The location is ideal (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and Harris Teeter two blocks away). It was a 15 minute walk to the concert venue, and once we were there, everything the city has to offer was at our fingertips.As for the city, restaurants are open, bars are open, shopping is open. Musicians played in the streets. For a concert weekend, the crowds were not bad at all. Bartenders, servers, and shop owners were all very appreciative that we were there. It reminded me of the Asheville of 10-15 years ago - same spirit, just a little less crowded. In many ways, now is the perfect time to visit.David is a wonderful host. Upon arrival, he spotted us pulling in and came out to personally thank us for being there.
