Silverline Park on the French Broad River is right across the street. This escape is ideal for couples, small families, remote workers, close friends, and outdoor adventurers! Welcome to this bright and colorful home located across the street from the French Broad River near downtown Asheville. You can also step out on the front porch and let the time pass by - Southern style. The living room is open to the dining area making it ideal for your group to gather together. The sturdy wood dining table seats 6\. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal or enjoy carry-out from one of the local restaurants. The two bedrooms are designed to be cozy and relaxing. A bathroom is shared between the two bedrooms with a shower and tub combo. There is also a laundry room with a washer & dryer off of the kitchen. Reserve now to \`Live Like a Local\` in this uniquely renovated home! You are able to access the entire house except for a locked storage closet. There is free off-street parking in the shared driveway for up to 4 vehicles. Arrangements can be made for safe parking of your large vehicle or trailer on the property. You will get a code to enter the home via a keyless lock system. We are available for questions or services between 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. The cottage is set on a quiet, neighborhood street above Riverside Drive. Woodfin is a small residential town desired locally for its easy access to many areas of Asheville. It is a 5-10 minute drive to downtown, River Arts, West Asheville, and several breweries. Outdoor activities are anywhere between 5-30 minutes away from the cottage. Getting around is easy by car... There is a park next to the river across the street from the house. This is not a walking Airbnb - it will suit a group that wants to explore all of the sites in Asheville by car and return to a wonderful, clean, and cozy spot. There are plenty of nearby attractions... \- Biltmore Estate (8 minutes) \- South Slope Brewing District (7 minutes) \- Downtown Asheville (7 minutes) \- River Arts District (5 minutes) \- French Broad River access (3 minutes) \- Blue Ridge Parkway (15 minutes) \- Mountains to Sea Trail (15 minutes) \- Multiple breweries (2-15 minutes) \- Chimney Rock and Lake Lure (45 minutes) \- Mount Mitchell via Blue Ridge Parkway (50 minutes) Other things to note: • Pets are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee of $110/pet applies for guests traveling with animals. • We require a damage waiver for all reservations. If any noise complaints are reported, you can expect a warning communication. If a second noise violation/complaint occurs, your reservation may be terminated. MINIMUM BOOKING AGE IS 25\. If smoking or drug use is detected inside the property after your check-out, we will request additional money for cleaning and/or file a claim against you for damages. PETS ALLOWED. We welcome well-behaved pets. Please clean up after your pet outside and inside. If you must allow your pets on furniture, please cover the furniture with YOUR OWN blanket or towel. The pet fee does NOT include animal waste cleanup or stains on bedding, towels, or upholstery. GUESTS ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY. By placing a reservation, you agree that all guests expressly assume the risk of harm or adverse events that may arise during the use of this property. Everything being on one level, as well as the simpler backdoor access, proved very helpful for those of us with limited mobility. There were lots of personal touches that made us feel at home, coffee supplies, books and puzzles, welcoming furniture. Grocery stores, UNCA, multiple small towns to explore, are all within a few minutes and the drive is beautiful. The neighbors were friendly and quiet, with almost zero traffic close to the house.
