Really key location right in the thick of the mountain, but only a simple Uber ride into town. Cozy accommodations were perfect for two couples that spent most of the time outside. Saw five bears (!) two came right through the back yard then three the next day on the road. Didn’t have to make any meals or anything, but kitchen is nice and has everything you need. The house was a little difficult to find at first - we also found that Ubers had a little difficulty finding but a call to drivers when close solved that issue. That said, we quickly fell in love with the forest setting (the deck views from the rocking chairs are amazing!) and closeness to downtown Asheville and proximity to great hiking. We had a minor issue when checking in but customer service was so responsive and accommodating.
