Staff is very friendly; their English is a little bit limited but good enough to make it work. You can rent bikes for a little cheaper than the rental places around the train station. They're not especially nice bikes, but they'll get the job done -- I managed to ride to Shikisai no Oka and Shirogane Blue Pond with it (about 40km round trip). Rooms are basic but comfortable. Good living experience. ##### Frances Stayed 1 night in Aug 2017 ### 10/10 Excellent #### suthasinee Aug 27, 2017 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort nice place to stay when you come to biei. it's in down town, so easy to go anywhere around here. staffs are so nice. room and bathroom are very tidy. but bed is quite small for two persons. ##### suthasinee Stayed 1 night in Aug 2017 ### 6/10 Okay #### Tung, taiwan Aug 27, 2017 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service Disliked: Property conditions & facilities #### nice location nice location but some go room don't have the air-condition. ##### Tung Stayed 1 night in Aug 2017 ### 2/10 Terrible #### Verified traveller Aug 14, 2017 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort 我比较懒，很少点评，但这一次真的是不吐不快。这家酒店位置一般，距离火车站步行大约6-8分钟。在这样的小镇属于很远，周围没有什么店铺或超市，大部分都在步行距离10-15分钟。说是家庭旅店，其实更像青年旅舍。一层楼所有房间共用两间淋浴和一个厕所，一个两人位的梳洗台和一个人餐厅（全楼共用），洗澡时间有限定，10点后不保证有热水。双人间的床非常窄，只有1.2m左右，被套是上面带个洞的那种，感觉很不干净。我们带着孩子，一定要我们加付两晚的儿童费用共约5000日元，但是没有加床，也没有提供任何额外的服务（我们的预定不含餐，早餐额外收费700一个人），最多就是多了一个孩子洗澡的水费。如果要用毛巾、牙刷、牙膏等洗漱用品全部都要额外收费，一件一次100日元。房间清扫也很马虎，被子都不铺，只是倒了垃圾。除此之外，居住期间我们没有感受到任何服务。一晚750RMB加上后来追加的大约900RMB一晚，这算是我在hotels上最糟糕最让人失望不满的一次预定。劝大家一定要谨慎选择。 Very small room and bed (1.2m). 2 shared bathrooms and 1 toilet for the whole floor. Request extra fee for our kid but provide no extra service. In total \~150USD per night for 2 adults and 1 kid without breakfast. Almost no room service during the stay except rubbish empty. Towel, teeth brush, and anything you may get for free from other hotels will charge at least 100JPY per time. This is the worst experience I've ever had on hotels.com. The worst of all is the service attitude of whom I believe is the owner lady. During the first night of my two nights' stay, I asked for hot water to soak the fresh Corn which I bought from the market and surprisingly the answer was 'NO'. To avoid any chance of miscommunication and ask her again, trying to explain to her that what I asked for is Hot Water and her answer was an affirmative NO. Honestly I was shocked by her response and unfortunately I can confirm that this is not miscommunication, but truly due to her service attitude. For comparison I would to share a similar case with another pension in Biei which I stayed one week earlier.
