The onsen hotel is in a beautiful setting. Spacious room with comfortable bedding. The meals were exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely visit again. The staff are amazing and the food is incredible. The room was perfect size for a week or longer stay. Great couch and tv, with usb compatibility. If the bed and pillow were a little softer I would say it’s perfect. Next to the visitor center and the ropeway. The hotel itself was beautiful and elegant. Staff was very friendly and spoke English. The food was very delicious with many choices. The hot springs were also wonderful and everything in the hotel was clean. The room was very comfortable with nice bedding and comfortable beds and couches. The room was spacious and clean. However, the tempurature in the room was too warm and I wasn't able to get the AC working so I had to leave a window slightly open to cool down. This might be because the hotel is in the mountains, so there was a big difference in outdoor and indoor tempurature that I didn't adjust to. Anyways, it's a walkable distance from the Asahidake Ropeway, and there's a short marsh hiking path nearby.
