GREAT stay! A 5-minute walk out of Salento. VERY nice environment: nature, colorful, amazing views, quiet, nice-strong hot water! Caretakers Fidel and his wife were incredibly helpful and friendly, a MUST stay, a MUST experience!

Nice cheap base for cocora valley and salento.

Pros: The finca has beautiful views, and although staff dont speak English (i dont speak Spanish) they were super helpful. The mirador is close by. Cons: steep uphil walk from town and it gets very dark as soon as sun sets. Very loud, could hear the music from the town up until 2am.

Stunning view and peaceful ambience

Extraordinary stay with a stunning view. Located close to the town, but far enough to get a peaceful ambience. Very nice hosts who provided everything we needed and could help with contact to various services including day trips, laundry services and our onwards transport to Cali.

It's scenic view is something to go back to. Water is brownish and drinking water needs to be bought. Staff are so helpful!

Nice view, challenging

It’s not far from the main road, but you have to be in a very good shape to walk towards and from the city. When it’s raining, it becomes very dangerous. And if it’s cold outside, you can’t have a heater or a/c to warm up.

Make your stay in Salento special with a stay at the Finca Cardonales. This is a hotel more than a hostel so don’t let the name put you off. The property is gorgeous, in traditional Colombian style, surrounded by beautiful gardens and amazing views of the town from the terraces. It is a delightful place and Alba will make you feel very welcome and is extremely helpful. Rooms are adequately furnished with TV, hot water and great wi-Fi. Breakfast is available in morning for a small extra charge and snacks, refreshments and vino are available at a small snack shop. The finca is a ten minute walk from the town and all of its restaurants and stores.A truly enchanting experience.

The service is horrible. My stayed 4 days and we did not get any towels the next day. The service lady gárrase my wife for leaving towels on floor but we did it because the second day did not clean them. Don José the person in charge follows my wife and me and he almost hit me. I asked to call the police or the owner and he said no. We felt threatened because the attendant followed us to the room with the lady that bringing the towels. I asked for money back and he said no. Please don’t book at this hotel borrible service and the attendants don’t know how to treat guests. My wife doesn’t feels service staying at this hotel

Entorno espectacular

Acabé en Finca Cardonales por casualidad, me equivoqué con las fechas de la reserva de otro hotel y me encontré en Salento sin hotel teniendo que buscar otro. Al final fue una suerte, el hotel está a 5 minutos de la zona mas comercial de Salento pero completamente tranquila con unas vistas espectaculares del pueblo y de toda la zona. Bien la habitación, buen desayuno, todo perfecto.

Excelente vista a Salento, a las montañas. Habitacion comoda, limpia y muy espaciosa. excelente atencion al recibirnos fuera de hora. lo unico que el acceso es un poco escabroso. no se recomienda llegar de noche si no se conoce el lugar
