« Die Finca ist ein wunderschöner Ort mitten in der Natur, die Bungalows sehr ansprechend und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Es waren frische Blumen im Zimmer, alles war sauber und zum wohlfühlen. Sehr gute Küche; die Produkte werden auf der Finca angebaut und kommen frisch auf den Tisch. Guter Service auf unaufgeregte Art in entspannter Atmosphäre. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. »

« We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. « This place was absolutely amazing. We loved it from the time we pulled in. Very beautiful property and the gate pulling in is so pretty. Daniella was very helpful and boy can she cook an amazing breakfast! Make sure to book her breakfast at the property at least once. We seen so much wildlife while just sitting on the beautiful porch, including monkeys. The house was very secure and safe. It was fully stocked with everything you could need. « The property is beautifully situated, comfortable and has everything one needs for a stay. The owners live on site and are very attentive and kind but not intrusive. It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive. »

« Melanie and Ericka were both very responsive and helpful navigating this property. The view of Arenal Volcano was spectacular and worth the winding, bumpy roads to get there. The accommodation was beautiful. We had wished to spend more time on the deck (our favorite lounging spot) and rooftop patio, but the weather wasn't very cooperative. It was wonderful to have laundry facilities available. We recommend this as a great spot if you want to be away from La Fortuna yet close to many of the...

« This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. « This house is beautiful. It has the best views. El Castillo is such a cute town, with some of the best food at the shops down the street (and a very good bakery). The house is very close to the lake and Arenal volcano, and about a 30-40 minute drive to the city center where you can do a bunch of different tour activities. The views are incredible! We spent some time every day sitting on the roof and looking over the rolling hills (and the volcano if we got lucky). At night, we were able to see...

"Très bel endroit avec une vue magnifique. La piscine l’est tout autant malgré une eau très (trop) fraîche . Le personnel agréable et efficace . Deux petits points négatifs cependant . L’accueil pourrait être un peu plus agréable avec un verre d’eau ou un jus de fruit offert à l’arrivée et du temps pour se poser un peu . D’autre part , le jacuzzi était hors d’usage ."

"Pour le prix, nous avons trouvé cela très régulié. Pas d’eau chaude dans la douche et les thermales n’étaient chaud.
