A pair of leggings covered with so much fust found undet master bed...they were not ours.the chandelier over dining room table full of dead bugs.i could write my name in the dust on fireplace hood and study hasnt been cleaned at all2) turned oven on to preheat and it started smoking due to grease build up.found out at that time the vent and light over oven dont work.so took meat to grill to cook and it was filthy and no brush or utensil to clean it with3) turned on sink disposal and 12in of water and food debris shot out of adjoining sink drain. Multiple broken lights, non-draining showers, broken toilet seats and kitchen faucets. The house needs some updating but without wifi, this is not a fit home to rent with young children. The deck space is very nice and large but you have to bring your own outdoor furniture. There is an outdoor ding table and chairs but that is pretty much it. Lights flicker constantly like being in a disco. Front steps are crumbling and landscaping is very overgrown. The basement area is very nice but also needs some furniture to enjoy the living spaces.The company (Vacasa) that manages the place is terrible to deal with and will not work with you so make sure you don’t need to change anything, even 4 months in advance. ##### Jeff T. Clean house, very comfortable beds, big open kitchen into great room, large dining room. Vacas was very easy to talk with and flexible for early check-in and a late check out. I would give a 4+. Just a few minor fixes and a deep clean would be a plus. Would still highly recommend! ##### Gail B. It is The home in a great location! Large enough for the 15 people staying there. The concerns were that there was not really enough seating for all of us to sit in the living room area together or to eat at the dining room table together. The front porch steps had a broken area that needed repair, the upstairs bathroom needed a new shower curtain because there is mold on it, hair was also in the drain. (We brought 2 air mattresses & used the office space as well). About 10 minutes from the Asheville airport, it was centrally located between Hendersonville, where the church service was held, and Black Mountain, for the burial. There was room to sit & look through photos, dine together and take walks in the lovely neighborhood. There is a swing set that our four-year-old enjoyed and a nice terrace area with one side in the open air and the other screened in. The downside was very weak WiFi, and those who wanted to login to work during our stay or use streaming platforms experienced issues connecting. Overall, it was a good place for a family reunion. ##### Mary W. Kitchen worked nicely. Only advice is to be very careful out on the deck at night. The 3-4 steps from the upper to lower deck are very hard to see at night and no handrail to assist. Make sure ALL the outside lights are on for the best visibility of the steps. Dark brown steps on dark brown deck in the dark is not a good combination. ##### John H.
