The main floor holds two bright, cheerful bedrooms, each with a queen bed wrapped in cozy comforters. Also on the main floor is a full bathroom with a tub/shower enclosure and plenty of plush towels and spa soaps. The large upstairs great room features two twin beds, a full-sized bed, television & DVD player, and a foosball table—a hip hangout for kids and teenagers. Coffee aficionados will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen’s stainless steel coffee maker and bean grinder. The dining room table is ideally situated for views of the ocean—the perfect backdrop for relaxing conversation and scrumptious meals. Curl up with a captivating novel in the warm and inviting living room or enjoy a movie on the cable-equipped flat-screen TV with a fire crackling in the wood-burning fireplace. My oldest daughter was able to use the upstairs loft as her workspace during the week. We have another daughter who is visually impaired; the floor plan of the house was very conducive for her navigating the different rooms. We loved the sound of the ocean from our windows, only a 5 minute or less walk to the beach. The deck was lovely and a nice place to spend part of the afternoon. The home is exactly as the listing describes. Quiet neighborhood, easy to find, 10 minutes from Cannon Beach. If I had one complaint, and it is not a deal breaker, there isn't a lot of space to put groceries in the kitchen. The dining area is very well lit and with lots of natural sunlight. But we found the house to be a little dirty. All of the kitchen pots and pans had to really be cleaned as they were covered is sticky grime as well as some of the kitchen utensils. The refrigerator and freezer had old food left as well as empty containers. The BBQ was very dirty and it was not worth using or cleaning. The bathtub drains very slow and you stand in a pool of water as you shower. We were a little disappointed and wish we could get our cleaning fee back for all the cleaning we did! The location was great; I loved that you could see the ocean from several windows in the house. The walk to the beach was fun and easy. We particularly enjoyed the entrance to the beach that was the next one farther north since it was like a tunnel in the trees. We appreciated the quietness of this area and seeing fewer people on the beach as compared to Cannon. The entire coastal area was so much fun to explore and we loved it both rain and shine. The house was tidy, kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. The only downside is the house is located just off the 101 and there is quite a bit of road noise. ##### Anna K. My wife and I planned a family trip with our 2 young kids (7 and 9) and my parents....and our dog! The Beach Pines Bungalow did not disappoint. The property was very clean (and we are picky). There was a very well stocked kitchen that included a great assortment of spices. The beds were very comfortable and there was a generous supply of towels. The upstairs loft area was fun for the kids - the stairs are steep (as you'd expect with a home this vintage). The trail to the beautiful beach is literally around the corner. You can be standing on the beach in two minutes. Our host David was very responsive. We enjoyed being only 8 minutes from Cannon Beach and preferred our Arch Cape beach!! We will certainly be back. ##### Keith H. There were many wonderful touches to this sweet beach home and we appreciated all of them. The deck, the comfy living room furniture, the easy to open/close window coverings, extra blankets, quality fluffy towels, lots of games and cds, beautiful landscaping/hydrangeas, great coffee maker, it was super clean, and of, course, the location was perfect. We walked to the beach each day and we almost had it to ourselves the entire time. There were a couple of small items that we let the management company know about that are easily fixable - several wifi options were sent and none worked (the working one can be found on a label in the kitchen) and the door lock went out so we left the back door unlocked so we could get in and out (it’s a super safe neighborhood). You can tell that a lot of love went into this home. We are taking our son to every state before he graduates and this lovely cottage was a highlight to our time in Oregon! ##### Diana R.
