"A lovely holiday with fantastic staff, but let down by departure day. Our recent stay here was genuinely lovely, largely thanks to the fantastic staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire trip. The accommodation was excellent, the food was great, and the amenities were generally very good. If you are travelling with family, the kids' club is absolutely fantastic. If you like to work out while away, be aware that the fitness/gym facility is quite poor. The space is very limited, and there is a distinct lack of weight training equipment available. Unfortunately, our day of departure really put a dampener on the trip. We asked to keep our room for a short while to wash and change before our flight, but we were refused because "new clients were arriving." Given that a large portion of the hotel's guests travel from the UK, the flight schedules meant it was highly unlikely new arrivals would be needing our specific room while we were still on the property. It gave us the distinct impression that the hotel was only interested in keeping new arrivals happy at the expense of departing guests. Eventually, we were provided with a courtesy room to wash in, but the state of it was awful. It had a bad smell and was left in a total mess, complete with empty bottles and a huge pile of wet towels left behind. We had a beautiful holiday, but the way we were treated on departure day was a very disappointing end to an otherwise great holiday"

"A beautiful apartment with wonderful views. Exceptionally well equipt. Very helpful and friendly host and owner. Couldn't fault it in any way. Preferable to have a car, but only 10/15 mins walk to beach and bus stops. It is on a hill so not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties to ealk. Spectacular sunsets! "

"We had a wonderful stay in Amanda's lovely villa. It was clear that this had been a much-loved family home as there was everything we could possibly have needed - including beach chairs and a cool box! The plunge pool and hot tub were well-maintained during our visit and the housekeeper, Marcia, was wonderful - really responsive and friendly. We found the villa to be exactly as described and pictured - it was clean, spacious and had the most beautiful views from the balcony. We spent hours sitting on the comfy outdoor sofa, watching hummingbirds and even a family of monkeys early one morning. It was also the perfect place to enjoy a rum punch and watch the sunset! The villa is ideally situated to benefit from the trade winds and although air conditioning was provided in the bedrooms, we didn't need to use this as the ceiling fan was more than sufficient. Sugar Hill is a lovely development and we enjoyed several delicious meals at The Deck restaurant, where we were greeted as regulars by the staff. Amanda's villa is the perfect place to totally relax and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. We didn't want to leave! I also wanted to mention Amanda's helpful communication - she kept us updated on local events (such as a jazz evening and the opening of the padel courts) which was much appreciated and enhanced our holiday."

"We loved this property and Sugar Hill! Communication from the host is excellent - Janine is super responsive and helpful. The villa is a great space and is spotlessly maintained and furnished to a very high standard. The kitchen has everything you need and more, and eating on the covered patio is truly lovely. The cross-breeze when the front and back windows/doors opened is terrific. The backyard is very private as the property is at the end of the street and the gardens are lovely. One night we were lucky enough to see the local monkeys move through the backyard including some very cheeky juveniles who came right up to the pool deck to say hello. The Fairmont Beach club passes worked seamlessly and there are also comfortable beach chairs should you head out to any of the other gorgeous public beaches nearby. Sugar Hill felt very safe, and the entire property is well taken care of. The pool facilities are great and were never crowded and The Deck restaurant was nice to have on sight. Sugar Hill is in a great location with many great restaurants in nearby Holetown within a 10 minute drive as well as the big Massy supermarket with a good selection of anything you need. We had a fantastic week at this property and very much hope we will be able to return one day - we would book again in a heartbeat! Thank-you for such a wonderful stay!"
