Taking bath in the bathroom is a pain even for Asians (hard to avoid not banging into the walls as you try to shower or soap yourself). Futon was kinda firm as well compared to the other Ryokan that I have stayed at with futons. An XXL person would not fit in it. Room was clean and the view fantastic.
