Sleeps 2-4, free on-street parking at harbour, Wifi Renovated throughout in 2017, this one-bedroom penthouse flat offers everything you need for an East Neuk of Fife get-away – and it’s right on the Fife Coastal Path, overlooking the lively, working harbour of Pittenweem. The centrepiece of this bright and airy flat is the open-plan kitchen/diner and lounge which offers views south, out into the Firth of Forth and the North Sea. We recommend the comfy sofa to cast your eye over fishermen laying their creels in the sparkling waters – and we have even seen whales here. Or take a lounge window seat and look west over the boats – and seals – bobbing around in the harbour. The penthouse is an ideal retreat for couples, although the lounge sofa is a comfortable double bed-settee to offer extra sleeping space. As you would expect of a total refurbishment, everything in the penthouse is new – kitchen, lounge, bathroom, bedroom, utility room – and all furniture and equipment. The kitchen has a gas hob with an electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and ample work surfaces and storage cupboards. A small freezer is in the utility room, along with the washing machine. The dining table comfortably seats 4; and the lounge area includes a well-lit desk if you need to use a laptop. The bedroom has a super king-size bed and sits alongside a wardrobe and chest of drawers – plenty space.
